It’s always a pleasure to see Za’ryialong braids and mixed color skin) when I shop at this her at Kroger. Even though she works in the self checkout area, she’s always assisting customers with bagging their groceries and helping with any issues at the scanner. Besides the convenience of the store location, Za’ryia is the only other reason I shop here! She goes above and beyond what is expected of her. SHE DESERVES A RAISE & promotion!

Someone new needs to be hired for the customer service desk because the short older lady that’s there is not it. Some of the worst “customer service” I’ve ever experienced.

Kroger on Town Lake Parkway in Woodstock, GA definitely has a customer service issue. Kroger had a flier advertising a 4th of July Rib Fest. It stated to pre-order from the Deli Department. We ordered (4) slabs of ribs from the deli department. They asked me the day and time I would need the ribs, which was 12:00 noon on July 4th. I asked where should I pick up the ribs and she said at the deli. On July 4th I drove my handicap shopping cart to the deli and I asked the deli clerk about the ribs I had ordered. He was unaware of the process and he conferred with the deli manager. She stated that we would need to go outside where they were cooking the ribs and pick them up there. Since she did not explain the process any further, I asked her if we paid for them first or after we picked them up. Her response was very frustrated say that she could give us a bar code to pick them up. It was obvious that she did not want to help us through this process. When we got to the out door cook out we gave the cook our receipt and what ordered. He stated what ever! I guess out of his frustration that people were starting to line up and the ribs were not ready.
I would like to make sure that the issue with the lack of customer service is not from your front line employees but from the management. Why I say this, we have experience on many occasions new employees that were very friendly and after working a while they seemed to be very hesitant of socializing with the customers. I realize their goal is to be very productive and efficient, but is this the culture and relationship you want in your store?
Just a few other management decisions that have shown the stores lack of customer service.
- During Covid the store manager decided that the cost of providing too many sanitizing wipes that were conveniently next to the shopping carts. He decided to locate the wipe behind the customer service counter. We then were required to get our shopping cart and ask for a single wipe behind the customer service counter. REALLY! Touch the cart and the go get the wipes.
- The time that the manager decided to move the garbage cans at the gas pumps because of the bees that were swarming around them. If you checked your oil you had to give the wipe to the gas attendant behind the glass room. It took me saying something several times before it was corrected. Do you really think that was the solution?
-Please realize that your friendly employees that greet your customers is a reason we shop there. Making them feel that they are not able to take a few minutes to speak to the customers is the wrong philosophy. If low price is all that you are shooting for, then I guess you are meeting your goals.

I used to put gas ⛽ here and use their air every now and then, but now they charge you for the air, so I go to QT, gas station gas is the same price and their air is free.

Goodbye Kroger on Towne Lake - you're done. Today, I shopped, rung up all my items on a register that had so many problems it busted my soda box & it took forever. You only had 3 lanes with cashiers so really no choice but to use the many self checkouts. I then bagged my own groceries, loaded them into a cart and loaded them into my car. I had to lift quite a few heavy items. You watched me do all the work, never offering any assistance to an older Individual. I noticed you had a lot of supervisors watching me struggle but doing nothing else. I guess watching me must have been important and hard work. I'm done with you. I will start using Amazon for my heavy item groceries and I will give my business to your competitor, Publix, who always offers to assist me every time I'm there.

Lived in T.L. for 20+ years and Kroger has gone from meh to atrocious. The fuel discount is an utter joke. Record breaking profits during lockdowns to the point the CEO bragged how good inflation was so they could hide their profits while many of us are struggling. They are no longer competitive bur rather are predatory. I literally shop other grocers and maybe come here for minimal if any staples. Just an utter joke of a company now. Even after the fuel discount, I got gas for .04 less a gallon just 3 miles down the street. Again, this place has become a predatory joke among wise consumers

Grocery orders are easy to place & pickup at this location. Workers are always friendly and prompt.

Every time i shop at this kroger there is a 4-6 person lineup at self checkout !!!( and no other lanes open)

This store has no real sense of customer service. You rather talk rude instead of finding a actual solution or being happy to help. No just bad mannerisms all around. Whispering and carryon with your co-workers at cx service desk when people need help doesn't show you care about your job. & really chasing me down and blaming the customer when you made a clerical mistake at your register. Learn how to treat people. Going no place fast kid.7:00-7:20pm 11/7

You cannot check-out of this store. Today at one point there were 17 people waiting to check-out. Not a manager in site. Then again can't say I have ever seen one. Every manager of this store should be fired!!!

super displeased with the cashier. she began going through all my items to make sure they were scanned &’ i came home to find she scanned double of some items &’ a total of 21.98$ extra charges from repeated items she scanned.
