I booked a car early in an attempt to avoid the “we ran out of cars” excuse. As usual, they were out and put me in an EV with the plan to swap out. Never heard from anyone. Called multiple Hertz locations. Some said that they would call me back, they didn’t, and some told the truth and said the swap out wasn’t going to work. Time to look at other options.

Avoid this location at all costs.
President's Circle tier member with Hertz Gold Plus Rewards. Went to location about 90 minutes after scheduled pick-up time for a 5 day rental. Hertz Rep was rather short in addressing me me: I was late to 8 AM scheduled pick-up time for my rental by over an hour; therefore they had already resold my car to someone else with no other rental car available, so he "cancelled" (Rep's words) my reservation. It was their "policy" that pick-up must be within hour of reservation scheduled pick-up time or reservation gets cancelled by the location specifically. Verbiage of Hertz' policy directly from Hertz website: "Late Arrivals - If you are a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Member, the pick-up period will be extended to two hours in each case." Go figure - the Hertz rep would leave out that specific bit applicable to me.

Terrible location - rogue location does not follow Hertz standards.
Clearly there is something more sketchy going on with this location. Absolutely do not trust.
I am sure this location does not care if I never book with Hertz again after this experience; however, Hertz corporate should know the reason I will not use this company again is because of this sketch rental location and sketch Hertz rep.
Oh - even though the Hertz rep stated he cancelled my reservation "locally", I still had to call Hertz general support and cancel my reservation or else I would be still charged.

JT the manager was excellent. Picked me up at the collision center, the process was smooth easy. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect. Very impressive gentleman. Thank you for your service and support.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE
The organization in question is borderline criminal and managed to scam me out of $1,600. If I had the financial resources to pursue legal action, I imagine the outcome could have been a successful lawsuit. Unfortunately, I didn't have the means at the time, and they clearly took advantage of that. I recommend AVIS if you're looking for a reliable rental service.

Vusa. Would go out of his way to help us we used his services at Hertz two times and each time he provided the best customer service. We will be using this rental car at Woodstock ga for all our travel and we have another one coming up in September and November 2024 thanks again V.

Voosa and the team could not have been more helpful! I experienced a catastrophic issue with my much loved auto. It was one of the last gifts my husband gave me before his passing. It meant the world to me. While it was being delicately repaired this team helped arrange an auto for me and were supportive every step of the way. I am extremely grateful for the service and personal care which they provided me! Thank you! I do apologize if my spelling is incorrect Voosa!

Absolutely worst customer service. We made a reservation and received confirmation for a 5pm pickup. When we arrived at the location I was met by an employee at the door who bluntly said Sorry We’re Closed. I showed the employee my confirmation for this time slot and stated we have a 5pm pickup. His reply was, well we closed at 5pm and there’s nothing he can do. Why would Hertz allow me to book and pickup a vehicle at the close of business. The customer service skills definitely showed when his response was, well it’s 5:01 so you’re actually late. To add insult to injury I got a No Show Fee charged to my card a few days later for $28. Not only did I waste my time driving there but now I have to take time to call customer service to get my money back. I’m glad I got a kind customer service rep on the phone who processed my refund. There’s way too much competition in the rental industry to be turning down business with a poor customer service skills. This location didn’t want my business. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.
