I have been through different states at these same gas stations, but this one definitely left me impressed, the man who serves is very friendly and the prices are very good! Recommended!!!

Ok look I don't do reviews but this experience was so bad I made an account just to write one up. TL;DR - waited an hour+ - 3 customers that ordered after us get their order - ordered chicken but they "ran out" and substituted it for oxtail. - oxtail wasn't as shown I photos. it's just a thin layer of sauce and a slab of meat. No bone. A tone of rice below it. - rice was terrible. Too much water and mushy. - unprofessional kitchen staff. - good cashier - never going back - just go to McDonald's instead Showed up at 6pm to ordered a 3pc chicken with fries/Mac & cheese, and a catfish platter with hush puppies/fries. I wanted mashed potatoes but they ran out. No biggie it happens. My friend orders the catfish platter as well. So we're waiting for a total of an hour and during said time three customers get their meals before us. Given one of the orders was a door dash order and they messed up the order. So they had to remake that order on the fly, and then two other customers who ordered after us got their meals before us. Now I understand they might've ordered something else, but two other customers with a remake order? Things are not making sense in that kitchen. After about 30 minutes or so you can overhear laughing in the back to which she runs to yell at her staff to finish out order. Not only that but the cashier heads over to the gas station to get her what I assume is her father/owner to straitened up his kitchen staff which I also assume are his sons. It's a family owned business from what I can tell. My friend gets his catfish and his rice he ordered as a side is terrible. They used way too much water and it's just mushy. I'm patient and still holding onto dear hope that the food is good at the very least. I get my order and find out that they ran out of chicken. I'm disappointed since thinking logically the kitchen staff would've notified the cashier that they've ran out of chicken when getting the order or before. Thankfully they substitute it for the oxtail that they priced at 21$ on their menu so they have some pride in it I guess why not try it out. Head home and open it up and find out that there's only a thin layer of ox meat laying on a mountain of rice. The rice is mushy and the sauce from the oxtail doesn't help it at all. There's barely any meat and I just push it off to the side and try out the cat fish. The catfish is decent surprisingly but you have to have hot sauce or ketch or something with it. My friends broccoli was drowned in water so they're not even steamed but boiled. Cant say much from hun but it's safe to say we're not going back there. I wish I had photos to show you guys but I was so disappointed I threw it away. Leaving on a good note the cashiers were the only ones who were good. If you've read this far thank you and don't go here. Just go to Popeyes down the road honestly or starve.

Finally got to V Soul to try the local only southern country (soul) food - your fried chicken , or Oxtail, collard or turnip greens, Mac and cheese, cabbage - this is what I look for. So they have a meat and 2-3 sides- or get as many as you want- so went for fried chicken ( not fast good chicken ),greens, cabbage and potato salad. All very good. Got my son a pot roast and Mac and cheese, Lima beans, potato salad and the pot roast was the bomb! I went late on Sunday- 2pm, Mac and cheese was getting a little (done), and the 2 chicken dinners just weren't correct - but all good at the end so 1 point to details others would have had issues- we were happy, food was good, highly recommend.! Small place but looked like a lot of to go orders as well!

If you like home cooking, you should try V Soul. It's an obscure little restaurant in Winder, Georgia. The food is outstanding. The portions are ridiculous. You will not be disappointed.

Food was good . Clean . They even has sanitizer spray in restroom. Ox tails so tender w/rice. Shrimp and Mac was more than enough for 3 people. Sorry no photo

My husband and I were so looking forward to trying the food here. I ordered online while driving there to come get our food. Even got a confirmation email. It was a Wednesday around 1:30 pm and said our food would be ready by 2 pm. Get all the way there after paying online, and it's closed. It was frustrating bc it allowed me to order, it was during business hours and we drove there. Hoping this might have just been because of the holidays, but it was frustrating. Hoping to give them another try.

Lemon pepper chicken wings are the best I ever had. Shrimp Mac and cheese was so bomb. Food is really great here. I wish I had photos to share but we tore it up and left nothing!

Really friendly staff and quick efficient. They have a much bigger selection on everything. Great location to put this store here.
