Worst Usps location I have dealt with . Rude employees , horrible service and not following any usps protocols .. Report this misconduct at this location to USPS CONSUMER AFFAIRS (Go to Usps website) . How these people are representing the US postal service is disgraceful.

i arrived at the post office with my items boxed but i did not have tape at the time, so i asked if they could tape it for me since there are 3 rolls of tape sitting on the counter. the lady rudely told me “we don’t do that here” and when i asked her why she said “you can read that sign and get back in line.” so unlike any post office i’ve been too, you have to pay for an entire roll of tape instead of just the portion i am using. i am extremely disappointed in the fact that the employees on mcdonald’s night shift are more kind than the ones you have at the US post office. i had this situation with a black lady, maybe about mid twenties to thirties. she had light brown braids in. if you see her at this office, make sure you don’t have any questions, she will not be happy to answer them!

I have had positive experiences at the local WInder Georgia Post Office. Everyone there has always been courteous and helpful. My primary complain is with the faux tracking system. It is a “system” claiming to be a tracking system that tracks virtually nothing. It states when the package leaves the origin facility and predicts with no degree of accuracy when the item will arrive. On the day it is scheduled to arrive and doesn’t, at the end of the day it declares that it didn’t deliver. WELL DUH! We kinda figured that one out! The it also states that it is later than expected, another big surprise. Then they don’t even attempt to predict when delivery will occur and may state something like “in transit to next facility” and of course that could be anywhere. Listen folks why not just admit you have no clue how to track shipments. Or perhaps you should hire a mole to infiltrate FedEx or UPS and discover how competent people do it. I gave the the 3 star rating only based on the people at my local office. Otherwise 1 star

I received a package from Amazon that was delivered by the USPS. However, they shipped the wrong item so we initiated a return on Amazon. I took it to the post office and they said you have to print return labels at the library and tape it on the package and send it back. Thankfully, I decided to go to the UPS store where they shipped for $1.17. Was it more than printing it at the library? I would have had to buy shipping tape to attach the label, which would cost $1.25, plus tax, plus the inconvenience of going to 2 places and all the taping, plus the cost of printing. It would be a kindness if the post office would give their customers options. The UPS Zstore gets 5 stars all day long.

One of the best experiences I've had at a USPS. Manilla was absolutely incredible, professional, and prompt. Thanks for all you do!

WINDER POST OFFICE- Ive never had so many problems with just trying to receive my packages without them being damaged. I buy and sell things off ebay on the side for fun and extra money. Ive asked them several times, called the office, asked the drivers to their face, they refuse to stop smashing my packages inside the box and just leave them at the door. My only other option is to have to pick up my mail from the post office. I guess now I have to do my own mail becauseOf the incompetence.

I just recently moved to Winder, and I had to go by the post office this afternoon. The gentleman working to assist customers was quick, helpful, knowledgeable and just genuinely pleasant.

Winder PO has a reputation for being rude for a reason. They complain EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I drop off a package if I happen to have my own zip code as the return zip. They want Winder zip, WHICH IS NOT REQUIRED ACCORDING TO POSTAL REGULATIONS. I have tried to change my return zip, just to pacify them. The last time we dropped at packages there (April 27), they did not scan them and according to the online USPS portal, HELD the packages until the next day. Their response is "they want their credit." I have called the main PO and am currently in contact with another district office. I know I'm not the only one who has problems with this office.

This is a shout out to one of your mail carriers Amanda!!We live in a 55+ community in Winder and Amanda is one of our mail carriers, my father in law recently passed away leaving his widowed bride of 67 years. On several occasions Amanda has taken the time to go the door to check on my mother in law, she has genuine compassions for the residents in my community! As she has told me, she loves my mother in law! Amanda is a pleasure to talk with, always a smile on her face!Amanda is second to none!, she is an assist to Winder Post Office and all of the US Postal Service!!Thank you!! Mark & Libby Pritchett

I am shocked on how this place is being ran. They stop delivering mail to part of my subdivision for a week now…without any notice. When I contacted the post office and spoke to the Post Master, I was told that the master lock was damaged which is why some people weren’t getting their mail. I followed-up a couple days later because I still wasn’t receiving my mail, and the Post Master blamed the issue on their lack of an Allen Wrench/Hex Key. As a result, I have to pick up my mail everyday. Today I was supposed to receive an important legal document that was mailed using a tracking and expedited service…but it never came. This is a service that was paid for but was not provided. This is beyond unacceptable. I can only imagine how this is affecting those who have their medications mailed to them. I’ve contacted the appropriate channels but it doesn’t seem like nothing is being done. I will be addressing the matter with the city and county next.

My experience today at the Winder Post Office was nothing to write home about. The lady employee that was working there seem to not like her job. I have heard from other people that she is rude. She had no problem speaking to a male customer and was very nice to him but acted like I was a bother. There are plenty of other jobs out there if she's not happy. Now I know why I go to the Hoschton Post Office. They are more respectful.
