Bought a capacitor for ac unit, didnt end up using do to it looking complicated, went to return and they dont accept returns on capacitors, theybsay a sign is up but should of been told buy cashier, now i lost money and have something i cant even use

Sat on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to give me a price on lumber. I won’t be buying it from Ace if they can’t tell me the price before I get there.

I purchased a maddock garden tool last July/August to get weeds out of my yard while I walk my dogs. No major digging with it and it’s now useless because the tool part has loosened from the handle and spins around. There’s no way to tighten it. I took it back to Hill’s Ace Hardware in Winder and was told that since it had been a year, they wouldn’t replace it. It hasn’t been a year but only 9 months and it wasn’t used during winter months. I’m retired and have to watch expenses. I have always supported my local businesses rather than shopping at larger chain stores. I won’t be purchasing anything from Hill’s again because I don’t have money to throw away on tools that tear up after minimal and light use. I will be making my purchases at Home Depot from now on.

By far one of the best Hardware stores anywhere. They have such an array of different types of tools and supplies for the big job or just a small one. I needed a lawn mower part and they had it. There is a full service parts counter there if they don't.

I have been a Hills customer for over 30 years. Local family owned for generations. If you need help here, you get it. One stop shop for anything from a small home repair to building one from ground up. Exmark dealer and a small engine shop. Excellent customer service.

Denise, Jon and Eliseo took care of me when I bought a new dryer recently. Jon was very insightful on the dryer I was looking to purchase, and he was kind and patient (especially with it being a Holiday weekend). Ultimately, I'm happy with what I've purchased. Denise was very helpful with scheduling delivery and addressing my questions. Eliseo did an excellent job when he delivered and hooked up my dryer! I really appreciate all of their help! They all provided excellent customer service!

I've been a frequent shopper at Hill's Ace Hardware and also a member of the Ace Loyalty program. I recently bought a couple replacement heat shields for my Big Green Egg but got the wrong size. Took them back but the "Grill Manager" said they couldn't be returned because they were used. I explained they weren't used and that I had only placed them in the Egg enough to see they were the wrong size. The guy just walked away without even attempting to come to a solution. I returned them to Beverly's Ace Hardware in Gainesville with absolutely no issues. My business will be with Beverly's Ace Hardware going forward.

I went there twice to cut keys including some house keys, padlock keys, and a car key. All the keys worked perfectly and they were very cheap! The man who cut the keys knows what his doing and he is super nice!!!
