My husband's health insurance doesn't cover mileage. CLS charges full amount to anyone whose insurance doesn't cover mileage. Over $300 to come less than a mile to his nursing home to draw blood. Outrageous!

I have worked at skilled nursing facilities that work with CLS for 7 years. They are so patient and nice. No matter how redundant my questions seem they never get annoyed.Shout out to Brenda who I have actually gotten to know through the many telephone calls through out the years! When I interviewed at a SNF that didn't use CLS it was a deal breaker for me and I didn't take the job over that!

Very unprofessional and unorganized place to work. The building they do the labs in is shabby, worn down, and unsanitary. Located in a sketchy looking back ally. The pay is low and they’re always losing the patient specimens, which violates HIPPA. Their EMR is not secure , making it vulnerable to hackers. I would not recommend working there or having them come out to do labs for your facility. They’re terrible at billing & don’t know the laws so they always bill the facilities for unnecessary charges.

I worked for CLS a little over 2 years. If management got on the same page and applied structure to their operations, it would be a great place to work. The pay was good, and I met a lot of great people along the way.

I've been with CLS for 7 years now, started as an assistant and grown into leadership. This job isn't for everyone. It's fast paced, high stressed and DETAIL oriented but I wouldn't have it any other way. There is a patient attached to every specimen. A loved one, on every requisition. I proudly say I work for a company who cares and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!

HR is rude, no open door policy, she is too busy. Sales team lies to the potential clients to make a sale. Specimens are lost and the lab covers it telling the client it was a lab accident. LIES LIES LIES. Don't work there. It's awful. Very unprofessional place to work.

worst place to work. The managers are power struck and use intimidation towards employees. HR do not care about the employees there is no open door policy. they work the phlebos like dogs then tries not to pay mileage. they tries to put you in a company car so they can't pay mileage. they have cliques. so you have to be careful who you speak to they only good thing that came out of this job was experience. the sales rep lies just to get business. they will tell the nursing homes the results will be ready at 12n when they don't get the results until 8pm. too many black women that abuse their titles. Everyone has complained about them but the hr manager don't care because he just let his little black puppet handle it. This is a very stressful job. i would stay far far away.
