Bought a brand new trailer delivered today and highly disappointed. This thing was slap together so quick no pride in the what so ever. Short cuts on material, extra sloppy caulking job not even on the seam, damaged light inside, zip ties all over the place. Do yourself and favor stay away from any dealer selling this product.

We purchased a Freedom Trailer from Defender Trailer sales and had problems such as missing parts and the interior lights not working, I reached out to the dealer and they said that the manufacturer would contact us regarding the issue. Because obviously, we needed interior lights on our 53' trailer I reached out. The receptionist said she would look out for my email because emailing is the only way to reach the warranty department. No one has contacted us back and now I can't get anyone to answer the phone. This is disappointing as Freedom had very good recommendations.

Horrific company to deal with. Delivered a trailer with a leaking roof and required me to climb on the roof to take pictures, because the leak pictures weren’t sufficient, before they would send someone to fix it. We requested a manual awning - they installed an electric one but without wiring or a battery. They then dropped off a battery and wiring kit for us to do it ourselves. Paid someone else to install the battery and wiring - the awning expands and won’t retract. Reach out for warranty service and crickets. Completely unresponsive for a $25,000 trailer delivered with major issues.

My employer purchased a freedom cargo trailer for my job. Wiring is terrible. Lights already have water in the housings. Weather stripping is already coming apart. Frame already rusting. It’s a complete pile and I’m stuck with it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Very poor build quality.

Worst trailer I've EVER purchased. Leaked like crazy, sloppy craftsmanship, sharp edges, and bad finishes. When we contacted Ty Leverette about the warranty issues he blocked me on all platforms. I cannot believe these guys are still in business.

22 May 2024 Trust the reviews and heed the warnings. I ordered a 48' enclosed gooseneck. I opted to have the trailer delivered to me. I wanted the driver to meet me at a local truck wash to confirm it was in fact water tight. Well no need to send it through the wash it had rained most of the trip up. See all the pictures below. I will start with the exterior of the trailer. I asked for 26 lights on each side 13 top 13 bottom and all flash when turn signals are activated. We'll they didn't do that. On the right side I had 15 lights on the top 12 on the bottom. They did not line up vertically nor horizontal. Wires were hanging from the under side. Multiple screws were not all the way installed. The rear rollers under the rear were nearly 24" from the very tail of the trailer. They did nor reinforce the rear. The fenders were 1 3/4" to narrow for the tires. The rear door had an 1 1/2" bow in the middle. I ordered a 36" rear ramp flap got a 16". Water was leaking from the ceiling around the rear door. Water and road debris coming out of the ELECTRICAL outlet and inside fenders. So much so the chip board was Delaminating! 2 side panels were soaked. Let's talk wiring. Nothing was weather/outdoor use wiring. All connections were clipped together. No shrink wrap. Where the wiring went through the sidewall of the trailer no rubber grommet to protect from chafing thus preventing Shorting out. After waiting untill the next day to talk to the dealer as i meet the delivery driver at midnight, they offered $500 and foam blocks for me to install in the wheel wells and a have a nice day. Clearly this would not fix the damage done nor fix the issue of the water or anything else. Fortunately I did not sign for this pile and sent it back to Freedom. As stated in other posts they gave me the new management line and said they would send me "everything" I need to fix it myself! 1 I ordered a new trailer as to avoid having to do any wrenching. 2 they would need to send me an entire new skin for it as every light was wrong. 3 all new materials for the interior as the entire trailer was soaked. Basically I'd have to rip to the chassis and rebuild. I can not stress enough do not buy from them learn from my and others mistakes!

Purchased a trailer from WOW trailers, manufactured by Freedom trailers. We meet halfway to GA and while pulling it home the bedside of our truck was deemed due to improper placement of the mini split (MULTIPLE other problems as well). I have been trying for over a month to get the situation resolved and our 'claim' was denied. We had 2 companies near us get quotes for repairs, we sent the cheaper one. First of all, a claim shouldn't need to be filed since everything wrong is a manufacturing error. They have previously asked us to bring it to the in GA, one way is 12 hours and they only work Monday through Friday. In order for us to bring it there I would have to take, at least, 2 days off work. I have been emailing Brooke back and forth for over a month and now my emails and calls are going unanswered. My husband and I have attempted to contact management and those calls and voicemails are going unanswered. We paid over $25,000 for a lawn ornament and Freedom trailers does not care. We will never buy a Freedom trailer or recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately our next step is to either forfeit the trailer to our financing company and run our credit or contact a lawyer.

This trailer was purchased . Built with every option . The trailer spent more time getting worked . On the roof line has a sag . All this under a year . Unfortunately after talking to freedom road they said the roof is not covered . Unfortunately this will be the last trailer we will purchase from freedom trailers . Do better stand behind the product you’re selling. Also had had some emails from . Brooke had reached out had me send pics all that . Also there is emails from the dealer to freedom so there is a paper trail .! At first she seemed concerned so I felt really good the issues would be resolved . Had heard nothing a few days till I checked email saying management says this isn’t covered . So long and short what kind of warranty do you offer ? . Very dissatisfied

Bought a trailer back in December from a dealer that handles freedom trailers.Canuck trailers in winchester, ontario. That's another story.
The interior and running lites never worked from the day I picked it up,there were small dents in it and the trim around the wheel well was hanging off it. Had to screw it on before I could leave with it. And of course he already git all the money. 20 grand of it.
Anyway I called and contacted freedom trailers about it,correspondence was with Brooke, who at first seemed concerned about my problems but it wasn't long before it ended. So my advice is stay away from Canuck trailers and freedom.

We bought a Freedom trailer and over the course of several weeks there were many breakdowns that were covered by the warranty, and even some faults were present from the very beginning (they forgot to install the battery responsible for the electric brakes). I submitted an application on the website, they answered me and I sent all the videos and photos of the faults and they told me to come and take a look. When the driver arrived, a Freedom employee took the trailer from the driver and brought it to production. And then time passed and they decided to find out when they could pick up the trailer and they stated that they did not have a trailer. We started calling the police to file a statement, we learned from the police report that Freedom employees drove it back and put it in the middle of the road and called the police and told them that they did not know what kind of trailer it was, although their logo was indicated on the trailer and they accepted it for repairs . Firstly, they did nothing to repair and eliminate defects and also deceived the police in that they did not know whose trailer it was, although the police later called the dealer. I am very outraged by such criminal actions produced by Freedom, namely, they deceived police officers and I believe that this is a criminal offense and they need to be held accountable. And this is fraud (they deceived the officer and deceived the buyer of their trailer, they said that they would eliminate the shortcomings but did not do it themselves. Their deception led to the fact that the police officer evacuated the trailer on a false statement from a Freedom representative, which committed an unlawful act; the buyer has already suffered twice due to fraudulent actions of the Freedom Manufacturer, namely the first, warranty service was not performed in accordance with the contract and the second, what I consider an even more serious crime is providing false information to a police officer and distorting information by adjusting the offense led to the evacuation and further charging for the evacuation and storage of the trailer for a fine platform, although there were no grounds for this, what they did was commit fraudulent actions. I don’t understand why such lawlessness is possible in a rule of law state like America, it greatly undermines the authority of the United States. We wrote complaints to the prosecutor’s office for consumer rights, the police and the trade commission. And we hope that No one else will suffer from this company. If someone has already encountered problems with this company, do not remain silent and complain because we read reviews, most of them are not happy, but the prosecutor’s office said that if they continue to file complaints, then they will open a case and deal with them.

Spend the extra money to get a trailer from a better company! It could save your money and life. It's not worth going for the cheaper trailer. Updates at end of post. Check reviews, YouTube, etc.
This is absolutely terrible construction. I wish I had known who my dealer was using for their build so I could look them up. Now I know why the trailers are so cheap. It started with leaks from poorly installed windows. The frames were crooked and little bits of plastic were put in place to make it look like the screws were actually holding. A few of them even fell out.
Then, I began to remove the walls to install fiberboard. I'm an amateur welder who would NEVER try to build a trailer, and even I know bad welding when I see it. No cleaning, spatter, holes burned from the welder.
Gaps around my RV door. Framing and installation isn't square, so the screen door has visible light around it. There's major gaps to the outside around the door and frame. The plywood sheeting for the interior is mostly okay, but poorly cut in places. They also leave a horizontal in the middle of the wall and cover that with a strip of plywood. No idea why they would do that other than to cut down the lumber cost.
There's a random 8' section of electrical wire that attaches to nowhere behind the wall. Half of the zip ties they used to hold up the wires are broken or don't actually catch. The "ground" coming off of the electrical box is a copper that's been stripped and put under screws in a sketchy way.
Then there's the floor. The gaps along the edges in some places are huge. I'm going to have to pull up the entire floor, lay down a sheathing, then reinstall everything.
When I first contacted them, I only knew about the window gaps. Ther response was, "I can tell you how to fix it" and a request for more informationabout the window seals. I sent the pictures and they never
I could not afford to ship this thing back, and I don't have the time to drive it to Georgia for repairs, which is their way of avoiding their own warranty. I guess I'll see if the review gets any traction with higher ups, but I'm doubting it after seeing these reviews not change.
Don't believe the "new management" garbage. Same people, same terrible workmanship, same shady business practices.
Update 3/17/24: this company refused to get back to me about their warranty, and I keep finding more issues. I just found that the inlet for power was wired so poorly that one of the wires worked itself loose. When I opened it up to see what was going on, it looks like they didn't even twist the screw down. There was so much play that there's no way it just shook loose. When I tugged on the other wires lightly, all of them pulled out with very little effort. It's a wonder that my trailer didn't catch fire and kill me while I was sleeping in it.
Update 4/3/24
They reached out about my review update from 3/17, pretty quick considering how slow real communication is. Showed concern, have "new" people running things (the reviews say this every 6 months or so when they hire new people and get them to leave fake reviews for themselves to boost their terrible rating). So far, nothing had been done. A lot of "I'm working with my manager," but I still have water damage happening under windows and the door that I'm dealing with. I guess I'm going to be forced to pay even more money to have the windows replaced. Just hope I don't have welds fail like other people have. Going to look at the national association of trailer makers they are part of and send them to this review page as the next step. I just want this fixed, but they won't own up.
Update 4/10: Brooke, the new warranty department lady, quit even pretending to care after

Do not buy a trailer here! Such a scam, they do a terrible job. We had so many issues with our brand new trailer. When our driver went there to drop it off for repair, the office called the cops saying they did not manufacture the trailer! The cop checked the vin # and found out it was build there. Seriously don’t know how they are still in business! Run! They will scam you.

We bought a 2024 concession trailer. The trailer was delivered to custom shop without the brake wires connected. The window drop didn't latch and needed repairs. Only 1 side of the window trim was installed. The rear lighting only had 1 screw, leaving the light flopping. The entry door is all bent and damaged. Tried to lock the door with the key and the whole tumbler assembly falls out. Terrible craftsmanship. Tried getting at least the brakes corrected but warranty didn't want to follow through to pay for the repair or rather correction from their mistake. Our sales company was Trailer County INC. Don't buy from them! Run!
