“I had an AWD vehicle that was supposed to be transported to my mechanic for a simple repair. It was towed by Shackleford Towing by the two front tires, which I found out later should have been done on a flat bed trailer due to the AWD. I wish that I had known that towing an AWD vehicle in that manner would destroy the transmission, transfer case, drive train (and more) and cause $13,000 in damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement with this company to compensate us fairly for the damage they caused to our vehicle. I'm only stating facts due to the litigation process. This has been a frustrating process and I had to purchase another vehicle. I am still hopeful this can be resolved. If I had not used Shackleford Towing I would have my dependable functioning vehicle and hundreds of dollars in my pocket every month.”

“I don’t write reviews ever so I don’t have any professional name with my email, but I had to write a review on this place. My car broke down yesterday at a stop sign and I already was having a horrible week. I was so stressed and they took great care of me. I called the next day they opened and they were amazing. My brain was in shambles and the lady on the phone (wish I caught her name) was super patient with me while I explained the details. Then the man who towed my car (also wish I got his name) was super quick to get there and get my car home, and he was an excellent driver too! Within the time I called and by the time I was back home it had easily been under an hour and a half. And it was a reasonable price in my opinion, $95, and thankfully my insurance will make up for that.You are in great hands with this company! If I ever need help again I’ll be calling them.”
