Cindy (owner) is a nice lady & I felt like she was being straight with me. You can tell she works hard, but, unfortunately, doesn’t have a great staff to help her delegate.It took 3 months to get my car in & they still didn’t have all the parts they needed. I ended up without my car for a week longer than it should’ve been (16 days total). No responsibility was taken by owner or staff for the delays. Communication and updates on my car were slim & inconsistent.I understand it’s a tough business to be in, but it’s the responsibility of places like this to purchase parts from vendors who are on time & not push blame to the one who aren’t. I believe they did the best they could, but if I could go back, I would go somewhere else.Service: Body & Trim

Was referred to the shop by a friend, brought in my 2018 Ford Fusion for driver side damage. Needed both doors, a fender and other body work it was rough looking. I strongly recommend Elder's Body Shop of Watkinsville to all my friends and family. I have used them more than once for various car problems. During a time when it has been seriously difficult to get parts, they worked overtime to locate sources of car parts for my repairs, and to find the best prices. I have found them to be honest and straightforward in their communications, providing all the information, and making sure that I understand each step of the repair project, and am in complete agreement before they proceed. Their work is of high quality. The staff at Elder's Body Shop was very kind and polite in all of our interactions. However, that is the extent of the positive qualities that Elder's had to offer.I can safely say that Elder's Body Shop is the single worst business entity I have ever interacted with. I would much rather have been treated terribly, while having my car fixed, than have the staff be very kind, while doing absolutely nothing to fix the vehicle and making empty promises that delayed me from contracting other body shops for a fix elsewhere.Here is the timeline of my experience:I set a Monday appointment on August 1st, 2022 for a frame straightening. I received a call the Friday afternoon before my appointment that attempted to push it back two weeks because the parts for my vehicle had not arrived yet.Unfortunately, as I discussed with the staff repeatedly, my vehicle did not need any parts.This being the case, I called back and explained that parts were not necessary, nonetheless, they still pushed my appointment back two weeks, to August 15th.Despite this unencouraging sign, I pressed on with the second attempt at an appointment.On August 15th, I dropped my vehicle off for the frame straightening. I was told it would only take a few days, then I would be back in my car. I called every few days to check on the progress, but was always told that the repairs had not yet started.After two weeks of hearing the same, I went to pick up my vehicle on August 29th so I would have transportation while I waited until they called me again. I was told that there was one car (a Subaru) in front of mine for frame straightening, and that I was next in line and would receive a call to bring it in soon.I was told the frame rack (device for straightening auto frames) was broken, and had been for two weeks, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for my call.Fast forward to November 14th, I still had not received a call about my car. When I called to check on the status, I was told that there was one car on the frame rack (a BMW this time). They called me back to offer a potential appointment for December 5th, with the assurance that they would call me back on Friday, December 2nd, to confirm.December 2nd comes, and I did not receive any call. After contacting them myself, I was told I would be called back within 30 minutes. I was never called back.December 5th, the day of my erstwhile appointment, I called to check on the status and was told that the staff had "completely forgotten" about my appointment.After a brief hold, I was told that there was one car ahead of mine (a Kia this time) and that after it was fixed, they would give me a call to bring my vehicle in.As of February 2023, I never received that call.All in all, the staff were very kind; however, they are either disingenuous or completely disorganized. Multiple times, I was bumped from my spot in line, while always being told "your car is next up."I understand that equipment breaks and accidents happen; however, repeatedly moving appointments back, skipping clients who are waiting for repairs, and forgetting to reschedule (or choosing not to without telling them) seem like a poor way to run a business. Not to mention a poor way to treat people.Service: Body & Trim

The staff was wonderful and showed true concern about repairing our vehicle and getting the repairs right and accurate. The paint job was spot on, which was our biggest concern, and the communication was great. I would highly recommend anyone to take their car there to get serviced.
