Wow! This might be the best antique store I've visited in 20 years! Accents on china, pottery, Civil War memorabilia, old firearms and everything in between.

This is more of a mini museum than an antique shop! Loads of cool, odd, fascinating stuff. Mr. Charles knows his history, too.

They sell KKK robes and hoods. Just burn them! There's nothing positive that can be contributed by keeping such things for sale. It's not important to history to sell these. The only place where they would be relevant for historical means would be in a museum to our countries racist past and present. This has nothing to do with being comfortable with history, I don't study history to be comfortable with it, I study it to learn from it. That whole discussion is not involved in the sale of memorabilia for the most violently racist organization in US history. If you're selling Klan robes and hoods means anyone can purchase them including the extremely violent racists that exist today so they may bring that history back to life for their own purposes. If you want to have a genuine discussion about this part of our countries history then give them to a museum that will use them to discuss that. Profit has nothing to do with what you're defending.

The owner has a rich history himself. He was a professor and fought/marched for civil rights and now sells pieces of the past. Great treasures and a kind man!!!!

I understand putting kkk robes in a MUSEUM to teach history, but making a PROFIT from the robes?! That's DISGUSTING. Even if you aren't racist you should still acknowledge what people can and WILL do with those robes.

Great little antique shop. Mostly small items, not much furniture but very interesting pieces. I could seriously damage my savings account in here.
