Don’t waste your time and money in having some jack legged SOB rebuild your transmission I would highly recommend going with a reman form jasper or OEM reman. I brought my truck here to get the trans rebuilt first problem I had when they were finished was that they didn’t put the proper amount of transmission fluid in and it started making hard shifts. I brought it back and turns out they left the transmission wiring harness crimped in between the transmission and the engine. They fixed it and then the transmission made hard shifts when going out of park. It’s been about a year or two and the transmission finally quit. I went with a remanufactured transmission and installed it myself I also noticed when taking it out that the brand new transmission lines I bought form ford before I took it to these guys had been cut and they had removed the thermal by bass and but brass fittings on the lines and some weird ground strap wires that they added for some reason. Don’t let these people rebuild your transmission nor would I recommend rebuilding a transmission. Going with a remanufactured is so much better and worth the money and you get longer warranty with it

Horrible my sister took her 2014 Nissan maxima for the transmission mind you it has the cvt transmission they did not fix the transmission and charge her $4,000 dollars she better take them to small claims court they have your car just sitting I hope no they close down his business one day

2002 Ford Excursion - 7.3 Power Stroke. Tom Hunt did a great job. Found the hard to find parts, and stayed with it until he and I were very happy with the results. Tom Hunt has done numerous rebuilds and replacements for my family and I over the past 20+ years. Had another shop condemn a tranny in my Jeep and Tom found out it was only a fuse to the control module. Fixed the problem and saved me $2800. Highly recommend.

Tom is very unprofessional he doesn't know how to talk to people , he overcharges people for simple repairs....i had to take my vehicle twice they missed a whole transmission leak...twice , poor quality and customer service please take your vehicle somewhere else...

This man did not fix my transmission properly. I have had to take it back 3 times within a year. Mr. Hunt was very rude to me. Then everytime I take it back he keeps it for weeks at a time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO TOM HUNT.
