So much variety in the garden section .The lady name Hattie in the garden section at the register was so sweet . The young man in the garden section .. I’m not sure his name , not approachable. He had this mean look on his face which made me hesitant to ask him do they cary straw or cedar for dog bedding he said rudely that it would be to your right on the trailer so here I am far away from Lowe’s creeping around this trailer that had pine straw on it . I’m looking like this can’t be right the trailer was half open with a chain and loose pine in it . I wanted to ask him was he sure but the mean look and rude attitude just was a put off , so I spent 10 mins looking in the garden section and finally found the straw in bags .

I ordered my floor tiles and other misc. They said will deliver on Saturday which didn't happened. So I called to the customer service 4 different times and every time they took about 30-35 minutes. Finally one guy gave me the delivery company name Spirit logistics phone number, So I called to them and the lady said your order is not in are system. So I called again to the customer service and they said reach out to the store where you made the purchase from. So I went to the store and the manager name Ron said let me find out and I will give you a call by end of the day today. Never got a call that day nor a next day either. So finally I went there again and cancelled my order and bought my merchandise from Home depot.

I normally LOVE shopping at Lowe's on Watson Blvd in Warner Robins, GA, but today had a bit of a twist as I finished up my shopping. I needed a 2cu ft bag of potting soil, and because I have had a complete lumbar fusion, every bag I could have pulled off the pile onto my cart was ripped open to some extent, so I needed help. I asked this employee, Marcus ( I was told ) if he would mind helping. He was on the phone, and it was a personal call, by the way he was talking and letting a few cuss words fly. He had a negative approach from the beginning. I let it slide. Yeah, those of you who know me probably wonder if I was possessed. Anywho, he stayed on the phone and had to climb to the back stack to find one not ripped open. He threw it over his shoulder, the phone still at his ear, and he stumbled and ended up falling on his butt to the front pile of soil. He turned and threw the bag, which is heavy, BTW, onto my cart. When he did that, the cart shifted and hit me in the leg. Yep, it hurt and an instant bruise. I said ouch, he turned to me and said, " You wanna move that cart so I don't hit you?" I told him it was too late. He said it again. I told him just because he was having a bad conversation, not to take it out on me. He told me his convo was not negative. I corrected him and reminded him that he was cussing at whomever. He was about to throw another bag on my cart when I stopped him. I told him that I didn't know what his problem was, and he interrupted me and said I was. Ya'll, I was dumbfounded! My friends who may be reading this, I PROMISE I let the Holy Spirit guide my tongue because I'd have flipped tables like Jesus! Anywho, I told him I was done with him. I would finish up with his manager. He told me he was the manager. Naturally, I was floored by that comment. I thought Lowes had lost their mind putting this rude man in charge. I told him I had no problem going over his head. The REAL manager was called to my location, and I told him what happened and how Marcus tried to make it my fault. The manager promised he would review the store tape and talk to this employee. The manager was VERY kind. I normally would have given this store a 5, but it ain't happening today!
******UPDATE 5/06/24
My response to Lowe's. That issue will not stop me from shopping at Lowe's. It's one of my favorite stores. Next time, I doubt I'll be so nice to an employee like that. I had to ask the Holy Spirit to step in. I may flip tables like Jesus next time. But, I thank you for your response, and I do HOPE this situation was dealt with by the manager. I'd have fired him on the spot for his attitude alone. He is lucky I did not press charges for assault. His mouth, alone, warrants discipline! I was also a bit surprised the store manager did not offer to call me with some kind of response. I feel I deserve to know what was done after I left. I was so shocked and pi$$Ed, that I failed to think about asking him to do so. I also felt I should have been given a discount at the very least, and a B.I.G. one at that!! ( please feel free to make this offer even now. I certainly won't object. ) Even if I had to wait for the manager to review the store tape.

I called ahead and tried to get a thermometer. There was no answer and I waited for a good while. After a bit, we just headed up there and got it. I just wanted to confirm that it was there. I had a good experience in store. Also, their salt isle was very appropriately stocked. Didn’t have time to taste them all.
