Beautiful scenery and the staff is amazing.

Decent layout, scenic views and friendly staff. Tee boxes were beat up, greens were a little bumpy with bare spots. Bunkers weren't raked, most courses back home service the bunkers daily. Price was great.

Beautiful and cool scenaries provided fantastic joyful feelings to me. For passing the gate, you have to have official ID for verification. You can get a pass after you show your ID at the gate. Practice ball price was vary such as 4$ 8$ 10$ depends on it size. Toilet was located more than half course so check and adjust your beer bucket size.

My husband golfed here with a foursome this past weekend. My husband who booked the time for the foursome received a call from the GM of the club claiming some of their members “felt uncomfortable” by the foursome, who all happen to be Black males. The “members” were so privileged to not follow standard gold etiquette who played at a slow pace hitting multiple balls, and were offended by my husbands group moving ahead of them. Calling racial slurs, threatening the Marshall, and continuing to harass my husband and his group despite them not answering.
Upon reception of the phone call this morning, my husband spoke to the manager, and they lacked empathy, and it is evident there is a standard of protection on the side of their members and those who live within the community. It is evident that not all are welcome at this facility despite my husbands group all paying to play their course. My husband was clear that he wouldn’t be returning his business to the club, and promised a review on the experience.
If you want to play amongst folks who are privileged, entitled and prejudiced then this is the facility you should be seeking.

It's always a good course to play some links golf.

Overall, I came to this golf course to see what all the hype was about. After playing 18 holes, I saw the following things: the sand traps are horrendous, greens are either undergoing some rework or inconsistent, there is standing water where runoff should be occurring, the water drains are at least 90% overgrown, and majority of the tee boxes were unlevel and inconsistent all the way around for the whites. I don't plan to come back to pay $60 bucks to ensure a course that's not maintained and inconsistent. There's so much potential for this course, just the wrong head grounds keeper.
The positives are that cart girl makes rounds barely quick to get back to you, the pro shop staff is knowledgeable with really good prices, and it's always nice seeing deer while you play to admire being away from the city!
Maybe when things drastically change, I'll be back, but until then, it was nice seeing for my eyes to take a hot minute and not come back for some time!

$40 course for $75. Lose your ball in first cuts. It’s end of the summer the grass looks like yard grass in the winter. Inconsistent greens. Won’t be back

This place used to be so beautiful but they are waaaaay overbuilding & developing it. The natural beauty that it once held is slowly disappearing.

I’ve played this course a few times over the years. Lake Arrowhead itself is a beautiful place. But this course doesn’t have a single straight line anywhere on it. There are angles that would make a geometry professor go cross-eyed. Hills and slopes on every single hole, some that defy gravity. If you have any trouble hitting your shots straight, bring dozens of balls. But that’s not the reason for a one star review. The course is ALWAYS in horrible shape. The greens look like the surface of the moon. Scabs, pock marks, bald spots, lesions, absolutely inexcusably horrible greens. Weeds all around the apron of the greens. Cups look like they were cut out with a rusty butter knife. Sand traps like a mangy dog. Tee boxes bald or close to bald with so much sand underneath that your tee will simply fall over. The carts will slow to an absolute crawl while trying to traverse the straight 90 degree hills and sometimes simply not make it.
I’m sure there are fine folks in charge of this golfing operation but they probably should be accountants or doctors or astronauts. Anything but course management professionals.

Very nice place to visit but the greens are just abysmal and made it extremely hard to putt on.

I loved everything about this place except the course. The staff were friendly and professional. The driving range and putting green were great. The food was really good at the grill. I found the course to be only in fair condition. Some of the tee boxes were just dirt. Some of the fairways did not have the rough mowed, and where it was mowed good luck finding your ball. The greens were decent but it does not appear that many people repair the divots. Not the clubs fault but I would assume groundskeeper would be attending to it.

July 4 they had a scramble and began selling tee times at 12:10. The scramble didn’t end until 1 pm and they just stacked about 8 groups on the first tee box and had us wait for an hour. No apology or even acknowledgment from the staff. Went in to get a hot dog. The bartender gestured ver to the corner and said you can fix your own. Pro shop people were speaking to each other when I walked in and let me stand there a for a good minute while they wrapped up their conversation and then greeted me. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had at a golf course. All could be fixed easily with a better attitude but it’s clear that from top to bottom no one cares. Course was in bad shape as well. Go elsewhere.

The road to the club is not easy. Instead, the view is good.
