Ordered a simple cake online to be picked up at noon. They didn't print the order and started making the cake as I waited. The assistant manager said everything comes in frozen so it will be done soon. She was completely unbothered my order wasn't even seen. Definitely won't trust them putting together a more complicated order.

No chicken fingers or hot wings @ 6pm on a Saturday again. This store has the worst deli in the history of Publix.

I loved this store , came here once a week every week and even after the mess with my grandson's birthday cake; the store manager was so nice about it I returned. Now though... I bought a turkey , thawed as packaged instructions stated and it was in day 3 of thaw mode and you could smell the ruin. It's a 27 lb turkey, bring it up all I want to do is exchange , the new one won't be ready for work pot luck , but I'll use it for Thanksgiving day....Kathy was the absolute worst guest manager I've encountered. Do I want the bag back that the ruined turkey is in no, what's wrong with the turkey, it's ruined , no my apologies, no let me fix that. Nope just stares at me snatches off the tag can't figure out the refund, finally figures out how then puts it on a gift card. I proceeded to get another turkey, get to the front and there's Kathy and the cashier complaining its not even 130 uhhhggg Dee M. must have been having an unpleasant day, I asked if they had a mobile scanner as the new turkey was 20.0 pounds and I thought I was being considerate. Guess not, I lifted it and put it on the belt for easier access once she realized her tone she attempted to engage conversation, by then I'm over it , I will say the lady that bagged my groceries and the young lady outside collecting carts were extremely helpful.

The bakery has 4 people behind the counter. They have 2 sandwich stations. It is 7:36pm and one of the stations has been taken out of service. The hot bar has 2 items in it. It is obvious the other 3 are working to "close" there are 6 people in line. Sad to see they can't have 2 cleaning and 2 working to serve the customers during a late dinner time.

What happened? This used to be the friendliest store. No one spoke to me welcoming me to the store. Spent $200 worth of groceries and had to bag them myself. No one accompanied me to the car. People at the front stood around seeming to be busy but clearly overlooking customers bagging their own groceries. The cashier-- at least told me twice "thanks for helping". Really disappointed. I thought the chain prided itself on what a pleasure it was to shop with them. I hope they've not lost their identity. It was their nitch.

Try shopping the Douglasville Publix and you will never complain about this Publix again! Ignore the post below mine. This is a great store. Friendly staff and the shelves are stocked. Even the people who shop here are friendly. As a previous Publix deli employee in the second highest grossing store in Atlanta, I know how hard it is to work in retail and to please people. Some people will never be satisfied, no matter how hard you work to please them. If expensive frozen seafood is your biggest complaint in life, we all should be so lucky!
