“I found Dale through an online search looking for experienced luthiers in my area. He works from his home's basement workshop. I made an appointment to bring my guitar in to be "set-up" as it was brand new and I am a just starting out in learning to play. Dale checked my guitar out thoroughly and felt that it had, in fact come set-up correctly from the factory to industry standards. He even fine tuned it and played it to ensure the sound was good. He didn't charge me anything even though I tried to pay him for his time. He was kind, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable. I can't recommend Dale and Smooth Stone Guitars highly enough!
