Chevron is a classic barbecue joint and little gem just off I-20 in Temple, GA, super convenient to the interstate. It is not much atmosphere and has no fancy decor, as this place is all about the food. The kitchen staff is friendly and the service is quick. The menu is a great simple menu of brisket, chicken, ribs, meatloaf, and burgers, with various sides. The food is delicious, homemade, and all delicious. Portions are very generous, hearty, and huge, with especially generous lunch portions. The brisket is amazing and melts in your mouth, the ribs are very satisfying, the burgers are huge and delicious, and the chicken is exceptionally juicy and good. Sides include mac-n-cheese, collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cornbread. The mac-n-cheese is some of the best, the peppery "secret sauce" is awesome, the greens are seasoned well, and the cornbread is especially good. It is a very clean place. Customers are very satisfied, very happy, and recommend it 100%, stating they will be back and will not pass this place up.

Ribs were DELICIOUS. Mashed potato was one of a kind. Will definitely return and highly recommend this place !

Staff were awesome. Establishment was very clean. Overall, a great experience. Beef tips with gravy are a must.
