Took 3 hours to just get a antibiotic which I received a text for that would cost me after insurance under a dollar... During the 3 hour wait I received a call from the pharmacy stating that they had an issue on their end with the process (not myself or my insurance, but something on the Publix pharmacy end) and due to this the prescription would now cost $32.40 and if I still wanted it filled. So, because your pharmacy messed something up I have to take responsibility for that mistake? How does that make sense? No explanation, just do I want the prescription or not... Excellent service.

The worst pharmacy in Lowndes Co. Wait times of over an hour in line are common, only for them not to have the meds they CALLED YOU to say was ready hours ago. I have lost count with how many times the staff has lied to my face about not having my medication, only for it to be sitting right behind the counter. Going so far as to insist that my Dr is a liar who never sent in the meds (despite already having my order). Using this pharmacy is the #1 easiest way to screw up your medication schedule as they will take DAYS past the time they said it was ready to only fill half of what was ordered. These people should not be involved with the Healthcare industry.

It’s nearly impossible to get in contact with this pharmacy. They never answer the phone and the few times that they have answered the phone when I call, is only because I let the phone ring for 10 mins until they have no choice but to answer it. They are also extremely slow at filling prescriptions. You have to literally stay on top of them and “bug” in order for them to get it done.

I'm reading a lot of negative comments. I just transferred here so far they have been ok. The lady who waited on me was not over friendly but she wasn't rude. Hope my experience continues in a positive way.

Publix pharmacy has the worst, untimely customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They NEVER answer their phone and their excuse is that they are ALWAYS under staffed!!

Service was immaculate! First time using WIC and Jordan along with multiple other workers went above and beyond to help me get the correct products. So beyond grateful for their help! Highly recommend this store!

The pharmacy is going downhill. I called here last year when I went to college to transfer my medications, and the lady helped me with no problem. Now when I called this year, the lady that answered was very rude and not willing to help at all after I waited on the line forever. Steer clear!

Terrible pharmacy. I'm a type 1 diabetic and need insulin. I always get a 5 pack of pens, but they've shorted me 2 pens TWICE, and I'm still being charged the amount for 3 pens that I was for 5. When my husband asked why this was happening they said it was my fault for not calling ahead to see if it was available. I was a RX tech in NJ and this has never been how any pharmacy I've worked at has handled not having the proper amount of medication for a customer. When asked if we could pick up the other 2 on a day when they had them the woman says, "is there anything else you need?" My husband told her yes, I need my question answered and she replied with "have a nice day" and walked off. Made a report to management but nothing has happened. At this point they're committing insurance fraud if my insurance is paying for 5 pens and they are only dispensing 3. Everyone there is rude and all they do is keep you waiting. Prescriptions are never ready when they tell you they are either. Definitely better places to get your medicine and I will also make sure to report this to insurance so they can follow up and investigate. I take insulin to stay alive, not for fun!

Terrible pharmacy. Unnecessarily long wait times. Rude pharmacists who will give you attitude when you ask the most simple questions. Supervisors couldn't care less if you have a complaint. Go literally anywhere else; they are playing with people's lives.

I was having a hard morning and needed to stop with my daughter to get birthday cupcakes for school. This gentleman walked up to us and somehow we were talking about it being my daughter's birthday. We chatted for a minute and we went our separate ways. As we got to the checkout I noticed he was approaching us and before I knew what was happening he was paying for her cupcakes.
Turns out he was the manager!
Chad, you have no idea what your act of kindness did for us this morning! Thank you sir! Just know you made celebrating my little girls birthday without her dad home a little better!

I love Publix! unfortunately today's visit was not good at all. I had to wait at tue deli standing there for at least 5 minutes with no one acknowledging me and 4 people were working. I was the only customer waiting. then the pharmacy didn't have my RX ready after they gave me an hour wait time and it had been 90 min at least. I went to the front desk for a rain check and it took forever due to a customer completing a long return. and the store was not busy at the time. A trip that should have taken an hour took 2.

hot food is never stocked. extremely disappointed having to wait 20 minutes for tenders around dinner time when u would assume they would be making the most around this time? unhappy with the attitude & basically having to flag people down to get help.
