This was the worst experience my girlfriend had, ever. She wanted her toe nails painted the same color as her finger nails and when she brought it up to the lady she said to her "white girls so picky." This is beyond rude and instead of taking off the wrong color she just painted over it and is now chipping 20 mins later. All of this for 80$ was insanity. Do not recommend, id give a 0 star if that was an option.

I went there today with my niece for a simple manicure each. The whole manicure took maybe 20 minutes. They left our nails rough feeling, the polish is uneven and they look terrible. Neither of our technicians cut the nail or anything. They just cut the cuticle which was painful and did a quick file. They were not friendly at all. As you can see in the picture the polish looks terrible, there's polish on the skin and it just looks messy. I feel like my niece could have done our nails way better! The price we paid was insane for the quality.

When I walked in, it was very beautiful❣️ It has a rich California look and feel to it...not your ordinary nail shop at all!!! The music was awesome ands so was the atmosphere. I was greeted with a nice inviting hello and then immediately moved to the nail table to get a soak off of a bad nail job from another nail shop here in Valdosta, Ga. Huge shout out to Lily, the nail tech who did an amazing job on my nails...thank you❣️ I almost forgot to mention that when you go there, they ask you if you want something to drink like, a sprite, a Pepsi, water, or a mimosa. I chose the mimosa! I left as a happy customer. Thank you Chris!?

I've been using Nails By Chris since he opened his shop on Gortno Road. I moved here from Florida, looking for a great nail tech. I'm VERY picky as I also used to be in the industry. That being said, CHRIS is the best, and I love Rose, she is my next favorite. They don't mind that I'm picky.

I was really trying to trust the process I even told the lady this not what I asked for so her and the lady next to her start talking about it and laughing she proceeded to put it on my nails I even gave a picture for her to recreate my birthday nails this just ruined my whole birthday ??♀️

they used mma on my nails instead of acrylic, mma is illegal in Georgia!! the person ruined my cuticles and almost shaved my whole nail off, it hurted so bad and now my nails are unhealthy. the nails were lumpy and i was not given the shape i asked for. in the pictures im showing when i finally got them off and how my nails looked, it took an hour to get the mma off

This salon is great. Walked in with my friend and was seated immediately even though they looked crowded. The place has a very strong nail salon-y smell to it but you get used to it. The tools are very clean and the man who did my nails thoroughly cleansed the acrylic brush before using it on my nails. He was very friendly and kept a good conversation going. This salon is interesting, usually the nail techs are very chatty with their co-workers and take forever to finish doing the nails but this salon was very quiet and calm. They had a TV going on a positive show for all ages so that you could watch and not get bored during the very short time it takes them to do a full set. The prices are great. Cheap for good nails. Will be back!

Got some early Halloween nails. Techs did a great job. Clean atmosphere and friendly. They offer a wide variety of options and drink selection while you wait. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing experience every time! I brought my daughter with me this time for her first pedicure and they were so gentle and nice!! Not sure why everyone has such negative experiences here but that’s never been the case for me!Service: Pedicure

Rose (manager) did a terrible job on a full set for me. I asked for a gel chromed light pink in almond shape medium length (i had a picture of what I wanted). I dont know where to begin. They were lumpy and crooked to start with. She started painting before she was even completed and didn't even ask if it was the color I wanted. Cut me twice, stabbed me with the nail scissors. I had acrylic and glue on the pads of my fingertips where she made such a mess. The whole time she was smacking on pretzels and listening to videos on Facebook. Every time I would let her know I didn't like something, she would tell me to just wait and it will get better. Finally I had had enough and took my hands away from her and she asked Johnnie to take over and he thankfully salvaged what was left of my incredibly short nails. Thank you to Johnnie for fixing them. He should be the manager, not Rose. And to top it all off, I was still charged full price but I made sure the tip I left was going to Johnnie. Be cautious if you visit here and Rose does your nails.

Just moved here from Los Angeles, so it's my first time at a nail salon in GA. I honestly rarely give negative reviews, but my experience at Chris was inconsistent. Overall the place looks nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a mimosa. My pedicure went great, I think her name was Cindy. Great attention to detail, and gives an amazing foot massage. I did think it was really weird that they asked for my credit card halfway through the service. I've only ever either paid up front and then cash tipped at the end or just paid everyone at the end. So it was a bit jarring to get the bill during my pedicure. Like I said, the pedicure was great, BUT the woman who did my nails was rude, haphazard, and did a worse job than my 12 year old niece could have done for free. She treated me like she didn't want me there even though I had just spent $100+ and tipped my pedicurist $20. So... maybe I'll go back, maybe I won't. I absolutely don't want to see this woman there if I do though. I could have just done the polish myself. So anyway, it's hit or miss. Be really clear about what services you want, and if someone tries to rush you through the polish they're probably going to do a bad job so request someone else. And be prepared for a bill mid-service. Very weird, but maybe that's just how they do things here?
