I'm a college student and have been having issues with my car running hot whenever I'm idling. I came into Mike and Son's through a friend's recommendation asking for someone to look at my car and they immediately seemed to know what was wrong with it. They were extremely flexible in scheduling and even worked around my school schedule. I dropped off my car before my morning class and once I was done with classes for the day, my car was finished! When i returned, they explained to me what the issues were and what was done to fix the issues. And the service was decently priced (way cheaper than what I was expecting) and I will definitely be returning with any future car issues I have!

My car had been towed over because the shift bushing cable had come loose, and Mr. Scott went out of his way to call the Griffin Dodge dealership to have them look at the problem and have it covered under warranty while I was in class.I absolutely respect that, even though he could have charged me a price (around $300) for parts and labor, he had me get my part replaced for free through the dealership covering the part through a national recall for my Dodge Dart. While I had no real service done to my vehicle, the customer service I experienced was above and beyond what I had expected.

Best auto service I have had in Valdosta. I was having an oil leak and they were actually the second place I got a quote at. Next time, this will be the first place I get a quote at. Scott was great, and very helpful! Thank you all so much, I use my car for business and it is running great!

In 2001, after starting a position at VSU, on of my car tires was low on air. I pulled into the first Service Station I saw, Mike & Son Service Station. The people were so nice, I felt comfortable leaving my car for service. My last car repair was 3/25/21. I have been a satisfied customer for 20 years.

We were traveling and had van issues on the I75 over the weekend. We called the local Ford dealership on Monday morning and was informed that they could not look at the van for two weeks. I called and spoke to Scott and explained that we were traveling and our van issues. He said to bring it to the shop. Once we pulled up, he listened to the van and said that we had a spark plug issue. We said we just had new spark plugs put in about two months ago. They checked the spark plugs and sure enough, one of them had not been tightened correctly and had come out and messed up two coil boots. They fixed everything and had us on our way in about two and hours. I can’t say enough great things about Scott and his staff. If I lived in the area, his shop would be who I used for my vehicles.
