If I could leave no stars I would I sat at this place from 8:30am to 5:00pm for absolutely nothing!!!! Waited 4 hours to see the dr. And then when it came time for the pharmacy everyone went home and told me absolutely nothing. A lady from the front desk had to tell me and another person that the pharmacy had closed!!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here!!!!! I wouldn’t have gotten so frustrated if the person at the pharmacy when I check in with them told me that it would be the next day before it would be ready but no they told me just wait in the waiting area…

All these years living in this city; I never knew this Facility Legacy Behavior Health Crisis Center exist! If you or your love one suffered of depression or mental Illness you won’t regret visit Legacy! They provided an excellent, extraordinary, and comprehensive care. Absolutely IMPRESSED with this program! Florida has mental health facilities, BUT nothing can compare with Georgia! It is time to educate and inform people about mental illness because it is real! They have the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional staff! Each care provider we encountered from the Security, Receptionist, Nurses, RN, Therapist, Case Manager, Team Leader, and Physicians; they offered such a special care with LOVE and kindness…. especially when you are so broken! Forever grateful! ??I highly recommend Legacy to anyone who is looking for Mental care.

Legacy Employees smoke 10 cigarettes a day in boot barn employee parking and throw their LIT cigarettes out in our parking lot next to the grassy area and employees cars, already filed a complaint with the BBB and now filing a report of littering with a hazardous material with the police department. This is a serious fire hazard, Not only is this illegal, but it’s also morally disgusting.

I began treatment with this center back in the ' ye olde ' days, back when it was still called as it was in it's original incarnation, BHSSG...I will not waste yours (the readers') valuable time with the decent amount of grievances which i could spend most of about 3 hours, and with that, a finely produced work of a collegiate essay detailing with horrifying descriptions of the most unfair, useless, time -wasting services of any psychological treatment center that i have ever known to existAnd their 'Baker Act' center nearby, just a bit down the road.... Right... AmSo, alll i will chime in on regards to the standing of that place is that i was held (involuntarily) for a total of 36 days straight . I do believe there are certain statutes of individual medical rights which stipulates that after a period of 3 days, 72 hours, one may release themselves on their own recognizance, OR, the law states that one MUST be released thereafter if originally placed involuntarily.I was in no way any sort of threat to myself, or any other living creature, or any inanimate object (just to be fair to all things considered.)I was held a virtual prisoner. They simy would not release me. I had to seek the help of a law firm to secure my release. In conclusion, i will go out on a high note , if one would say, and issue this final paragraph as a general warning :So as it is , they have changed their name to include the word 'Legacy'- i will say only that any 'Legacy' of which they are riding a path in establishing for themselves, is a historical 'Legacy' of let-down, highly agitated, confused , broken, and unhappy 'clients', those of whom were no more than mere guinea pigs to be experimented in by undertrained , just passed their studies to 'barely make it', half- witted Uiversity of Phoenix trained doctors and councillors. After 2 and a half years of their 'treatment', i finally list the delusion that seeing them was some kind of beneficial, and moved in toward a private doctor.I left Legacy Behavioral Healthcare WORSE off than when initially began treatment from day 1All in all-Don't go here . Please . ?

They constantly cannot keep therapist employees and I haven’t spoken to one over two years because of the constant turn over rate. I’m at the point of selling my car just to afford therapy and a psychiatrist that actual cares. Great if you don’t have any insurance to get your medication but besides prescriptions expect no other help. Definitely a temporary fix to a problem that never goes away. Not to mention the help desk staff is super rude it’s like going to a drive thru with the customer service they provide. Makes me feel like we are in the 1960s with the mental help they provide. Always highly disappointed with this facility but it’s all I can afford.

The crisis center is great for detox and medication management. The main building is great for follow up with the main doctors. All of the staff are polite and treat the patients well. Extra kudos go to the chef at the crisis unit! He goes above and beyond!!? Thank you for that!!!!

Wow! Some Not All At The Inpatient center on the floor made fun of me once but saw them make fun of other poor patients several times and lots of very foul language by some workers on floor would not disclose their titles but they varied. There were a few workers especially lead therapist that was not on the floor much that seemed to want to help but you shouldn’t say anything to others in back or on floor just my opinion in case you get it worse best to get in and out ASAP . The only therapy I received was by lead therapist but maybe altogether 15 minutes she really cares if I could I would give her 10 stars , Mrs. G I will call her here. However, a worker on floor was blunt to say quote: we don’t give therapy you get the as they put it “ soft touch “ at behavioral health therapy. I disagree if you and a lot on floor do not have true feelings and compassion empathy for ALL patients find other work you are probably in the wrong line of work !!!!!!!!!!!! These workers hopefully will never face any of what the patients face however making fun and mistreatment I would say God sees all

I was hit by a car and a truck on the interstate 10 miles outside of Valdosta, it tore off my left leg at the ankle, it tore of my arm at the elbow, which they sewed back together at SGMC, I have neck and back injuries as well, and in the accident I had a severe head injury and concussion, I am on mental and physical disability from the accident, and the staff at behavioral Health, dr. Patel, each of my counselors, and associated program called the Graduate Program, have been helping me with my mental and physical disabilities. I've been in the program 9 to 10 years, and they have all been a blessing in my life, which granted I am disabled, but I have a good life, people around me that care about me, and are there when I'm having issues. I am very grateful to each and everyone of them for all the help they have given me.They deserve a big pat on the back and a great big thank you !Thank you all for helping me to live a better life...
