Horrible customer serviceBankers never pickup you calls & never respond to your emails. Always goes to voice message system. never respond to your query. All the times blames to there system.Ridiculous bankers, Move all the account to other banks.

Closing my Truist account. I’ve been with BBT since 2006ish. The transition to Truist was the worst. Their practices are horrible and management (Bianca) is extremely unhelpful and did not care at all whether or not I closed this account. Do not use Truist and do not seek help from Bianca.Also: they held my cashiers check for over a week. So don’t expect timeliness or efficiency with anything.

Truist is the worst. They’re holding a cashiers check for two weeks for clearing. How does that make sense? Really they told me at this bank it would be cleared by Friday but then I called into customer service a couple days after to confirm it’s availability for Friday and they informed me it would actually not clear til the 29th instead of the 25th. Soon as funds clear I’m switching banks.

They don’t deserve any stars.They merged or bought out my old bank. They never sent me any account information or a card. Then i get two pieces of mail (at the same time) saying they charged me an “account closed overdraft closeout” fee, and the next letter said they charged me another $30 fee. Never once did they attempt to contact me about my account being “overdrawn.” The funny part is how is my account overdrawn if I have never received access to it!Then they wouldn’t answer the phone, and if they did they just picked it up and hang up. I had to drive up there. Needless to say, they were rude and I ended up having to pay the $43.30 and I closed my account.I trust Wells Fargo Bank with my information over these frauds.

When this was BB&T I had my account with them for 12 years and never had a problem after Truist takes over it went way downhill..money started not getting posted then my debit card was stolen and they refused to make it right...if you value you money stay away from this place

I've been with BB& T for quite sometime but service went downhill with the merge of Truist. I moved recently in the area and had no avail to get back to my old bank. My son overseas was locked out of his own savings account and flagged as fraud even though I clearly disclose that he is overseas, called multiple times to unlock and begged as he could not buy his own food because he cannot access his own money. I decided to closed my multiple accounts, I went to the teller that is white, I had 2 transactions and she did it smoothly. At the same time my son is with another teller (black), it took forever for her to process one transaction. I am not racist but I can tell the difference of the two teller how they work. If I am the manager, I will promote the one that does the job and re train the one who is slow. By the way, there are 5 tellers at the time, 4 customer and one supervisor that overrides the transaction. In this scenario, not enough worker is not an issue but instead they need to be equip with knowledge on how to use their machine, proper journal posting and right attitude with the job.

It is 9am and the drive thru is not open, it clearly says 830 and they have been open at 830 before and when they do finally open they will take 5hrs for 1 transaction

Went in today to close my account the teller who helped me was super nice but her co-worker brandy decided to stop talking to the customer she was helping to ask me why I'm closing and when I told her she basically called me a liar and wanted to argue. Worst bank experience of my life dont know why a bank would keep an employee like that.

This drive thru is ridiculously slow. Sat in line over 20 minutes to make a deposit because the ATM deposit was down. There were only 2 cars in front of me. Every single time I have to go through the line it takes forever especially after 3pm when they close at 4. Valdosta needs a second branch on the other side of town.
