I'm basing this review solely on my phone interactions with the staff here and comparing them to an experience I had with another veterinary office in Valdosta. At Baytree, the woman (or women!) who answered my calls—one to set up my appointment and another to cancel—were incredibly kind and personable. If you’re the same person, thank you! Their phone etiquette is truly top-notch. If this is a reflection of how they treat their patients, I’m all in.
On the other hand, the other vet I called was a different story. The person on the phone was dismissive, informing me I’d need a $500 deposit, that my scheduled appointment would be billed at emergency rates, and that despite my dog being up to date on her shots, she would still need to be tested for parvo. What?! It was the most baffling thing I’d heard, especially since my dog just had a minor worm issue. I ended up purchasing an over-the-counter dewormer and treating her myself since we were sent to Florida before the scheduled appointment. (Hurricane Relief Work) So, do yourself a favor—go to Baytree!

Our babies (2 cats and a dog) LOVE Baytree Animal Hospital. The vets there are really knowledgeable and friendly. I trust them 100% with all of my animals. They treat them like they're their own, which I really appreciate. I would recommend BAH to anyone!

Dr. Leah and her staff treated my rescue dog with kindness and patience. He is usually so scared at the vet’s office that he is terrible, but here, he was so at ease that he was actually a good boy! And, his mommy is extremely appreciative of a drama free visit! I love this office❤️❤️❤️

Update: 2 years later, still would not take my pets anywhere else. We love Baytree!
Novem. 22: My petsitter took my 16 yr old Yorkie here for bad diahreah, when I was away on vacation. His regular vet was farther away. Baytree treated my dog with such care, they communicated frequently with me and the petsitter. Fortunately, pupper was examined and observed overnight, received treatment, and is doing so much better. Thank you, Baytree!

The BEST pet care in all of Valdosta, hands down!! They go over and beyond to assist in any pet emergency, health care or just to call and follow up with us when they know we are concerned about a pet not feeling well. We have been using them for over 15 years and have never had a complaint.

I have been going to Baytree for three years now, and they are wonderful. I have 2 sick cats(including one very hard-to-handle cat), I average an appointment every other month, and they are always there to help no matter what. Dr. Leah, Dr. Knight, and Dr. Barrett(who I believe has his own practice now) have been amazing, I highly recommend.

Simply the BEST! The office staff is super helpful and friendly. And the vets are very informative and kind. I never have a problems getting an appointment for my cats. I would highly recommend!
