Tried to call this place multiple times over 2 days , no answer. I had to drive up there to make sure I was picking up the vehicle at the right location because I was sent a message telling me to pick the car up at a certain location. Once I got there the black lady at the desk had an attitude ,very rude. I asked why nobody answered the phone and three people. couldn't give me a straight answer and said they don't know and they are sorry. Upon leaving the building I called again and still no answer they were not doing anything upon me coming and going so I don't get why the phone doesn't get picked up.The customer service is terrible every time I use them. Need better customer service . It's sad

The staff was friendly. I needed to change my car because it was having issues and they gave me a car that started showing the oil change light after driving 20 miles. Apparently that was the only car they had available.The car was also dirty inside.

I made a reservation took Uber to the location reservation was confirmed and when I arrived, they tell me they do not have a car for me available the worst experience in car rental ever! And all they will tell me is they are sorry.

Dropped off rental car with no issues whatsoever. The young man was very helpful and nice that helped me. Was in and out in a matter of minutes.

I don't advise anyone to rent from them the customer service is bad I rented a vehicle and didn't receive my deposit back went to speak with the manager they kept putting me off I don't recommend

You can rent without a major credit card, it could cost you a $200 refundable deposit though

This is the WORST PLACE TO RENT A CAR!! The Altima had some kind of hair in the back, it wasn’t clean either. I asked b4 getting the vehicle if they did a visual inspection, David said, “No”. When I got in the vehicle, IT WAS NOT CLEAN! Since in the fine print it says you will be charged for pet hair…THERE WAS HAIR! I brought it back ( 27 mins later), they gave me another vehicle (same model), IT WAS WORST! I walked back in and told them to cancel the reservation. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $287.28!!! The manager was the only one to refund (reverse the charge) and she would not be in until tomorrow!!! WHATT!!! REALLY!!! And they DID NOT CARE AT ALL!!! WORST EXPERIENCE I have had with AVIS!!!Don’t rent a vehicle there if you unless you want to be charged for a filthy vehicle!

The absolute worst car rental company ever. The customer service is awful. The 1st person we dealt with was a black guy who acted like he didn't want to be there which he shouldn't be with his horrible attitude. The 2 female managers are on two separate pages when it comes to explaining the fees and charges. We were quoted one price but ended up having to pay an entirely different price when we arrived. If I could rate this company a negative number I would. Do not rent a car from them.

I was quoted one thing and priced another. We went in for a Durango and came out with a van. The money was too much and it was way too much of a hassle. Called the day before to confirm everything and when arriving so many things changed.

Great service! Other rental companies in town can take over two hours to provide a car, even with a reservation. Avis got me in and out in 10 minutes, and they weren't even officially open yet!

My frustration is at an 11....out of 5. The person at the front desk is not really to blame. It's the franchise owner. When I returned the car, I noticed a chip in the windshield. I assume I did it, but really, I'm not sure. I tell them, knowing my insurance will cover it. I'm on the phone making sure that's true, when I find out that it doesn't matter whether my insurance covers it or not, the franchise owner chooses not to allow insurance to cover windshield chips. I asked to get a phone number to make a complaint, because I find that utterly absurd. The phone number-as is typical-was basically useless. I've been dropped 3 times. I am now out of time to handle this as the plane is about to get ready to load. I still plan on making a stink a out it. Basically, I will no longer fly out of Valdosta, because I'm not dealing with these guys again.

Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company. Mr. Matthew Tucker (employee ID 05656) refused to provide manager’s name so I’ll just have to warn other consumers here: long story short, i have two separate reservations for today AND tomorrow and Matt refused to honour ANY of my reservations. Additionally, he says they don’t have any cars available. Meanwhile three customers walk in and turn in keys. Whoever owns this location sure knows how to pick the worst staff. Unbelievable! Customer service for corporate just gives you the run around as well since this is an independently owned location.

Avis Valdosta GA were lifesavers. My boyfriend was driving his old work van from FL to Chicago and it broke down in Valdosta. The auto shop took a look at it, but the cost for the repairs far exceeded the value of the vehicle, so he decided to scrap it. The other rental car agencies in Valdosta were not helpful and said "they did not have a car" to go to Chicago when there were cars in the lot. I called Avis for him, and Matt and Cynthia both went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating in getting him a car the next day to drive back to Chicago. They represent what customer service is all about. Thank you from Paul and I!
