VERY rude staff.
(And no they did NOT let the person in question go) That's a lie. AGAIN.. the person I am talking about is still employed at this location. They have NOT been fired.

As an out of state relief veterinarian I was able to visit this hospital while in Ga. I’m very impressed by the doctor patient care displayed by Dr. Burks! It’s exciting to see this hospital grow! It seems there are a lot of upgrades taking place. A veterinarian that practices holistic medicine and physical therapy is impressive and will be beneficial for patients in the area. I can’t wait to stop by again and see what’s new!!

1st and last appointment..
I arrive and before I can get out of the car im greeted by a young lady that tells me that I can not come inside with my dog because the place is being renovate so they are doing curb side service. I was not made aware of this wen
I made the appointment that I would be dropping my scared Pit Bull off to a doctor that Ive never meet. I informed the young lady that Im not comfortable with that. Not to mention is 98 degrees in Ga! Was i supposed to sit in my hot car and keep my AC running while u did God knows what to my dog?! She tells me that she is gonna go inside to ask the doctor if its ok for me to come in. She comes back to inform me that the doctor said she would come out n examine my dog in the car! My vehicle is not a vet clinic! And again its hot in Ga!! So for that reason we left and my dog was not seen by the doctor. Please make your policy known wen appointments are made that you are ONLY offering curb side service. This may work for existing patients but new patients should be made aware of that.

Very displeased with my last encounter at first I was good Mrs.Christy would make sure he had everything he needed with all his appointments. The only problem u had was they didn’t have a price list posted anywhere and the drop off system makes you not have a relationship with the doctor that is suppose to be caring for your dog. Here lately they have been falling off I called on Monday about a very concerning issue and nobody got back to me that day after I was told she would call back once the doctor was back in office hear nothing back on Monday. Tuesday goes by I still don’t hear anything no call or text back and then Wednesday comes and I have to call them back myself just very displeased and disappointed I will be taking my business somewhere else now. I feel like my dogs health is not made a priority and the response time to an issue was like it wasn’t a concern to get back to me

The help staff is great but the Vet is the worst that I’ve ever experienced. He’ll overcharge for meds and prescribe meds that aren’t needed in an attempt to run the bill up. It’s no face to face with the vet. He’s arrogant and he gets angry if you choose not to pay for all of his ridiculous overpriced services. He’s lucky we weren’t face to face because he may had needed medical attention afterwards. I will drive 40 miles further to go to a real Vet. Pathetic!

Great service, but it's a bit pricey.

The Vet and staff are caring animal lovers. BUT.. They are very over priced.. I'm guessing it's the neighborhood. I also take my pets to Fayette for shots and it cost almost half the price.

Took my dog there due to a quarter size wound on his tail. $75 just to be seen & a dramatic explanation: dog consistently licking wound caused by bee sting created wound. They offer injections, antibiotics, cone, & etc. .total $266. Got antibiotics and cone. Cone came off in 5 min!! Ran water over wound & he hasn't been licking it since. He's been healing fine. Here I thought an animal bit my dog or some type of infection, but 'bee sting.' Paid $150....Time to start looking elsewhere. ....

Very sweet staff but I do not like sending my dog in without going and seeing what is being done (I understand Covid protocol but I'd just prefer to accompany my fur baby inside).

This vet is only in the business to make money. He knew my dog was on the brink of passing, he knew it before treating her, hell I knew before bringing her that it was possible. But I figured he as a veterinarian would tell me the best route. he knew it medicines wouldn’t work, he courteously let me know that even after administering medicine her condition continued to decline. Also he administered first of all WITHOUT PERMISSION. I would’ve He then told me that he knew there was nothing he’d be able to do for her then offers to charge me $972 to TEST to see if it was even worth trying to save her life. Then comes back with an additional $79 to euthanize and says add an additional $175 to cremate her.A professional scammer. DO NOT GO HERE. If you value your pet, wallet, or both, STAY AWAY.

I was a patron with 3 different pets for 18 years. I lost my almost 16 year old fur baby Riley last month. Two and a half years in, they used their fear of me passing out and hitting my head and covid as excuses not to allow me in the clinic when Riley was put to sleep. That was devastating and I will never forgive them. #broken

Been coming here for years. Not only do they have great service, Dr Jaleel never misses a chance to educate you about your pets... this is my 3rd pet to be cared for by Shannon Parkway Animal Hispital.
