We stayed at The Sea Cabin space in Tybee Island Bed & Breakfadt and we were extremely disappointed. The room was small and very warm and muggy There is not an air vent in the bedroom (there's plastic covering over what appears to have been a vent), the one with the working TV and chairs is barely blowing and there isn't a working air vent in the bathroom or vent to run to remove moisture. We called the number provided and was told the building is on one system and they would not adjust for us. She also told us to close the curtains and that may help with cooling down the space. Tiles where the two chairs and working tv were molded and open to inside the ceiling. The tub stopper was broken and not enough warm water to bath. The closet in the bathroom stunk like sewage or a terrible body odor. We were disappointed in the bed too, it was uncomfortable and not enough space to move around the bed or bedroom. Breakfast was a joke, coffee, egg cheese casserole and chopped fruit. We definitely don’t feel we got our moneys worth and our weekend splurge away was not as comfortable as we had hoped and assumed the accommodations would be better. We won’t be going back and do not recommend to other travelers. Customer beware. Thank you.

The Inn has a great relaxing environment, and the room was very nice and comfortable, and close to the beach. We plan on going back next time we visit Tybee!

My partner and I stayed in the dolphin room and absolutely loved it. The balcony was perfect for drying our beach gear, sipping on iced coffee in the morning, very private. The trees in the front yard MY GOD. Just gorgeous. Gracious hosts, close to the beach, towels to use, it was all just lovely

The room: each room is different. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, the largest room they have. The King bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space. The bathroom had a shower and a tub. The large copper tub was our favorite, unique feature. I'm 6 foot tall and fit in it easily.
The service: Alyssa provided her personal contact number and was available to answer all of my questions about the local area. She was sure to create a breakfast around any dietary restrictions or allergies. The breakfasts were amazing! There was something savory and something sweet at each meal. Coffee, orange juice, and water was also available.
The location: the inn is only about a 5-minute walk from the beach (there are bikes available at the inn on a "first come, first served" basis)! And about 8-10 minutes from some restaurants, shops, and convenient stores. This section of beach is far less crowded than the pavilion and pier area, where there are more restaurants and shops. So, if you enjoy quiet relaxation, this is your spot! However, if you enjoy more interaction and the convenience of nearby establishments, the pier is only about a 10-minute drive.
Overall: we were very well pleased with out first trip to Tybee, and so glad that we chose Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast! We will absolutely be back when we need to relax and unwind from the craziness of life!

First time to Tybee Island and the Inn. Great location a couple blocks from very nice and not overcrowded beach! First time at a B&B and the Inn was great! We stayed 3 nights and the owners were fantastic! They were always accessible and enjoyable to talk to. We stayed in the Dolphin room. Very clean and comfortable with an outside deck. Morning breakfasts were very good and the front courtyard is picturesque and amazing for relaxing after a full day on the island! We will definitely make this an annual trip!!

I wanted to love this stay however, we had booked the Mermaid room and when we arrived found out through an email that our room had been changed to the Sea Cabin. No one called to ask or notify of any changes. I did not like this room. It was narrow and dark, there was something nasty spilled on the floor next to the bed and the shower could use a good scrub. There was no one there to check us in and we were left to our own devices to figure out where our room was etc. The property itself is beautiful and I enjoyed the garden. I would not choose this B and B again. We did not stay for breakfast as we just wanted to leave asap so I cannot comment on the food.

We stayed in the family suite. The room was far from clean. The bathroom needed a clean from top to bottom. Strange vibe there & not very welcoming at all. Way overpriced $287 for one night.. strange location with a health facility literally on top of B&

I was quite pleased to have come across the Tybee Island Inn, having a wonderful experience with the lovely staff and comfortable room. The Inn is a quick walk to beach access and some of the restaurants on the island were close enough to walk or take a quick golf cart out to. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The garden in front is extremely welcoming and was enjoyable to lounge in for a bit in the evening.

My family booked the Lighthouse and Dolphin rooms on short notice (just a few weeks out from our stay). We could not have been happier with the location, rooms, and service we received! We purposely wanted to stay on this side of Tybee Island so we could walk as much as possible, and it was the perfect location to do that. Less than a 10 min walk from the beach and lots of restaurants. We walked at all times of day and felt perfectly safe walking in the dark in this neighborhood. We loved the patios on our rooms, my son adored the little alcove where he slept and the mattress was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever slept on. I have Celiac disease and on our first morning one of the owners found me to ask specific questions about what I could and could not eat so I could have a safe meal. It was absolutely delicious both mornings and so appreciated. We will definitely stay here again for any future trips to Tybee Island!!!!

We spent 4 nights at the inn, and the breakfast was fantastic, the room had plenty of space, and the bed was great. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
Walkability: Very close to beach public access and a local park/walking trail.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was great each morning - portioned just right, fruit and protein was always included.

Our first time to Tybee Island and our stay couldn't have been better! The accomodations were perfect for our 2 night stay and both breakfasts were delicious! Especially the homemade blueberry muffins and the Dutch baby!!!
Walkability: Early morning visit to the beach before breakfast!

I’ve stayed at many B&Bs, and this is one of the best.
Our hostess was absolutely wonderful. The cool old building was interesting without being annoying. The memory foam bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Lots of peace and quiet. We were delighted by the stunning front courtyard area under huge live oak trees. And of course, a great beach and good museums within walking distance.
We are already planning to come back in a couple months.

Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful bed and breakfast located on the north end of Tybee in the historic Fort Screven district. The owners are amazing and treat their guests as family in a beautiful home away from home. We enjoyed the Captains Quarters with our kids. The room and accommodations were family friendly. Short walk or an even shorter bike ride to the beach & Sugar Shack. Steps to beautiful Jaycee Park and the Tybee Light House. This bed and breakfast has everything you need for a true laid back Tybee style vacation.

Given that hotels are not allowed on Tybee Island your only option is a B&B or VRBO. I'll tell you up front that I'm not a B&B person. With that said, this has a very homey feel to it. The folks who run it make you feel like they're welcoming you into their home. The repeat patrons who were there seemed like family. We had a nice breakfast in the morning. As far as our room.....it was extremely hot and no temperature control so we turned off the vents. The bed was super comfortable but the linens had a perfume scent to them. Not good for someone who needs a fragrance free environment.
