We stayed in the upstairs apartment. There were no cooking utensils or dishes for the full kitchen. They charged my card twice and refused to provide me with written documentation where the overcharge was refunded back to my account.

We checked in late at night and found one bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time along with multiple other disgusting things. I took pictures to the front desk and didn’t even get an apology and they offered a $23 whole dollar refund. The morning staff was very rude!

The outside is beautiful, the location is perfect, we walked everywhere.
We stayed in Room 1. Walking in, it instantly felt dirty. The carpet was very dated and old, the room had a terrible smell to it, as if there was air spray covering up dingy and damp smells. The tv in the living area was in Spanish and we could not get it in English. Very misleading stating this place was renovated, our room was dark and very dated.
Walkability: Close to restaurants and shopping and a fabulous pier

I had made a reservation earlier in the summer for 9/22/23 only to have to cancel 9/19/23 due to my husband getting Covid. Canceled ASAP only to my credit card still being fully charged for 1 night of $232.43! Covid....- a Nation-Wide Unexpected Pandemic. I feel this is totally unfair and this well know Hotel being under The Desoto Hotel should reimburse me.Rita D.

Location was good. Bad smell upon entry. AC actively dripping onto the carpet. Hair in the shower from prior guests. Room was disgusting.

I had the absolute best time ever staying at the Georgianne Inn! After a 4hr drive, I was so excited to find out my husband booked a stay at this beautiful location for my birthday. We were greeted by two very friendly front desk associates who also provided us with a ton of recommendations for restaurants and activities. We met some great people during our five day stay, and we’ll be back but next time we’re bringing the whole family!

And lots on place near to walk toSafety: Code doors ever where .all the places were safe and nice homes.everywhere was cleanWalkability: You could walk to restaurants. Shopping and grocies and oceans and board walk.

Pictures and property description might make you think you have an ocean view. You don't. There are 4 properties between you and the ocean. Very dated rooms. Ours kinda smelled like a nursing home. Would definitely NOT stay here again. They must have hired a professional to take all the pictures of the rooms because we are really easy going and easy to please but the rooms were nothing like the pictures depicted. You will be disappointed.Walkability: Eateries within walking distance.

The room and outside looks nice, but.....it's very dated and has a dirty feel. There is dust on every surface and there was still debris on the floor from who knows how long ago. This isn't exactly what was advertised to me. Simple updates to things like the toilet paper holder and carpet would be a visual improvement. I am happy I brought my own coffee pot though. You couldn't pay me to use the one here after seeing how well they "clean." ? It still has someone's old coffee in it.It seems quiet and is better than other places I've stayed on the island but know this, if you are staying downstairs you will hear noise from the main apartment upstairs. All three families who stayed upstairs during my stay sounded like herds of elephants.I would stay here again. I wasn't bothered by anyone or any of the staff. If you go out the back gate, it's only about 2 blocks to the beach. It's a quick walk back and forth and that and a clean microwave and mini fridge gives it the 4/5 stars for me.

Stayed in G7 04/03/20231.) No desk clerk on site. We had no idea check in was down the road @ DeSoto Inn.2.) Pool closes at 8pm, for families with older children this was a bummer!3.) Pull out couch was very old and metal arms were broke.4.) The mattress cover had blood/fecal matter (brown stain) on it. There was also an area that had mold growing.5.) The pillows were yellow and brown stained.Just really grossed out about the room's lack of care and cleanliness.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!
