It looked like they probably had some unique items, but they closed up earlier than all of the other stores in this section of souvenir shops, and we were unable to find out.

Accidentally left a purchase on the counter, and after spending $170.00, tried to get their help in finding and sending it
We called the next day, after realizing what happened. The receipt does not itemize what was purchased only the amounts…hmmm, convenient. At any rate, to say the least they could not help us. Extremely disappointed… watch yourselves using this store

We have been here for a week and this store has never been open. We are very disappointed since they have shirts you can’t buy anywhere else on the island. So we will spend our money somewhere else on the island.

I just love this store. They have the best an most unique coastal accessories. I found a lamp I loved for master bdrm last yr, we didn't have our home ready yet so I didn't buy them then. I called an asked them a few months back if they would be getting any more an Salesperson was not sure. When I called tye store today to see if spring items were in an if they hot any more of the lamps, the owner renumbered me and had put 2 aside. I was thrilled. Thank you for the amazing customer service!

Love this place! Great selection, not the typical cheap trinkets beachy shops normally carry! Prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly!

Christy's Department Store on Tybee Island, Georgia is everything you expect a little beach shop to be. There are plenty of Tybee Island souvenirs. You will find a wide range of beach needs as well as some really cute beach decorations for your home. They have a really great selection of T-Shirts. They have a lot of different beautiful home décors, clothes, bags, wind chimes, and more. The store is clean and nicely laid out. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. All kinds of neat stuff at good and reasonable prices. Must stop in, if you are in and around the area.

We showed up at 415 to buy a few things we saw earlier and they were closed. The sign posted on the door said they were open to 5. They missed out on a decent sale for false advertising.

Visited this store in July and was treated very rudely by an older dark haired man with a very proud, haughty, prejudice attitude. He very clearly does not care for tourists. I understand tourists can sometimes be careless as well, but our family was just in there shopping. We were kind and respectful. He however, did not like that we were looking at a stack of blankets. We had unfolded them to look them over before purchasing. Some had snags, holes and black marks in them and our goal was to find 6 for our family, that were untarnished. He proceeded to come over to us and berate us for looking through them, verbally attacked my husband, myself and my children, my niece and nephew and sister. He was very rude and impatient. Told us we clearly struggling and needed help as the blankets were all the same and there was no need to unfold them. We very kindly told him what we were doing and why and he proceeds to throw his head in the air and storm off. We found our blankets and folded everything back. We were having a great day and had waited all week to go into this store. His attitude and arrogance was horrible. I proceeded to talk to him once more and tell him that we had all planned on buying blankets and that the way he addressed us was very rude and hostile and there was no need for this kind of behavior. That we had encountered this at multiple stores in the area...and again there was no need to treat people who were generously and genuinely trying to shop in this store with such hatefulness and hostility. He threw his head up again and put his arms behind his back and glared at me with pure hatred. I do believe if he could have spit on me, he would have. Clearly prejudice against anyone outside of his own race or not local to the island. The blonde woman behind him quickly jumped out to save the day and apologized, but it felt more as an aggressive move to shush me and get my family out of the store.I don't understand why you would treat people so harshly. I desperately hope these people are NOT THE OWNERS of this store. My entire day was ruined by his hatred and aggression. It was unnecessary. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Ever. After reading all of the terrible reviews on this page...you would think that someone would do something about this behavior!!!!!! Tybee Island is a great little island and my family members lived there for years and just bragged about the people and the shops and island. This man literally left a horrible stain on my experience there.
