Greetings I truly apologize to you guy's that had a rude horrible experience at Lavista family medicine...Dr Gee was my Dr for over 25 amazing year's!!! And she vared more about her patients than money!!! There were plenty of times I didn't have the money to pay for my meds she would lead me up with samples...and don't forget about the young lady named Lily who stayed with her til her husband married her and she barred children but Tatyana was the best Dr in Tucker I'm saddened that she has gone she even gave me her personal number if I needed her when the office was closed...Great job done Dr Gee??????❣?

Dr Mikhail Gorokhov and his wife were amazing. I’ve been visiting since 2018. Unfortunately they retired in Dec last year. Office staff is the worst of the worst. It has been always. One example: I called in today regards to my expired “bp” prescription and to make an appointment with a new dr. Nurse or admin who works there literally addressed me with “what are you taking about man dr retired” when I asked about old prescription…not to mention that it took me 2 weeks to reach out someone at the office. As far as staff you would be dealing with rude and dumb Bulgarian people or wherever the f… they came from. I’m an immigrant my self but people that work over there behave like came straight from the jungle. All due respect to retired and new doctors (I haven’t met) but office staff is…no comment. The office has extremely law rating when you look at the reviews posted over the years and all comments are refereed to office staff. I’ve been wondering why doctors don’t do anything about it since I bet affecting their business. I’m not going to go back ever or recommend this place !

I've been going here several years now. Just primary care but all the reviews of the reception, true. I agree - but the new staff and doctors are better than ever - for them I'd like to give 5 stars - the other is still a work in progress and they are aware of all the previous comments. My last two visits have been somewhat better with the reception but -- still room for improvement. Thankfully they are not the doctors or 1 visit would have been the last visit. It's local which is why I like to go to this office and now I think there has been a big improvement now that the old doctors are gone.

Rude and unhelpful front office stuff. Really liked the doctor tried to be patient with that lady receptionist, but I can’t, I’ve reached my breaking point with her. Unacceptable attitude!!! Even if she hates people in general, she needs to note that she works in a service industry

I wish I could give this place a higher rating due to the amazing doctor that works there and continuously helps my mother, but the receptionist is atrocious. Her attitude makes the experience within the office more of a burden to bear rather than an easy and enjoyable process. She is consistently rude and lacks the emotional capacity to help those who are in tremendous pain and need help with simple tasks. If someone is in unbearable pain, the last thing they are wanting to deal with is a disrespectful receptionist. Simply changing the staff that works there would help tremendously in aiding those in need.

Trust the reviews!! I wish I read them before making an appointment. If I could give zero stars I would. Hands down the worst Doctor's office I have ever been too. The front office staff is extremely rude! and have no concern for patient needs. They are definitely running a scam with medical billing and will charge your insurance for anything. The tell you they have to keep a card on file and for billing, and then withdraw money without even sending a bill in the mail for what it is! DO NOT GO HERE!

I have been a patient at this office for over 25 years but this new staff cares nothing about the patient. It all went down hill when Lilly left the office. But it Is apparent that the doctors could care less. I guess as long as they are making money everything is okay. How is it you need to see your doctor but have to wait a month for an appointment . THEY DON'T CARE AS LONG AS THEY ARE MAKING MONEY.

The lady at the front desk is rude and uncooperative so often you have no access to the doctor and the experience becomes frustrating. (The doctor is very good and has a great bedside manner).

Doctor is alright, the staff in horrible. My suggestion, do not go there. These people don't know anything about customer service or at least being polite.

To begin with if I could give this doctor a negative rating I would give him a negative 10+!!! I was attacked, beaten, raped, and left for dead in a parking lot in 2015. For this reason, I require a service dog to help me with my anxiety and PTSD. While I was in the exam room this doctor walked in and began chewing me out with a lot of hostility and told me he would see me for that appointment, but I was never to bring my service dog to his office again. His hostility triggered my anxiety and I began to have a panic attack so I got up to leave the exam room. As I was leaving he was yelling at his staff telling them to put in my files that I refused treatment. There was no way I could continue to sit in that exam room and continue the treatment with the hostility he was spewing at me. Do not subject yourself to the verbal beat down you will get going to this doctor, it is brutal!

The other reviews about office staff are true. I have never left a review of anything before. I read these reviews before I called for an appointment, but I ignored them as my insurance company referred me to this doctor a my new pcp. The first time I called for an appointment the front desk was rude and correctting of my inquiries. She went out of her way to explain all the things they don't do, such as recieve medical records from my insurance company. I ignored this as well. At the first appointment they were rude, autocratic and indifferent. I ignored this again as I just wanted to get on with it. After the appointment, they shuffeled me out of the office quickly ignoring my request to phone in my 2 prescriptions, I had to ask several times before they acknowledged my request. Then they acted as though my presence was an extreme inconvenience to them. I ignored their unhelpfulness again. They also forgot to schedule a follow up appointment until I went back and asked about it. I ignored this as well.Office and front desk staff act as if the patients are there to serve them. Patients, apparently, are an inconvenience. If they are not there to provide medical care then what are they doing operating a doctor's office?Today after my second appointment, I handed the front desk additional insurance information to update their records. She said she couldn't update my information. She declined, saying she couldn't do it. Then, They couldn't be bothered when I asked again on my second appointment, today, for my prescriptions to be phoned in to save me a trip. As I don't drive, it is a major inconvenience to make 2 trips to the pharmacy. I get my prescriptions delivered. It is nothing for them to take a minute to phone the pharmacy. I had to argue with her to get her to do it. Finally she said they could fax but "there was no guarantee I would ever recieve my medications". Rather than trying to be helpful, she turned it into a contest that she was determined to win. It seemed like some how her defiance was a victory for her. What was she trying to win? When she stated that as a result of her sending the prescriptions in by fax, I "might never receive my medications," she held her head up, sticking her chin out with pride as though she was victorious in predicting doom and calamity over the fait if my medications. I then sensed malice in her tone, so I wondered if she would subvert the process out of spite to teach me a lesson and also win her small minded victory. What kind of all person has to treat paying customers this way? This is supposed to be a doctor's office. Their oath is to first do no harm. The pettiness of this front office worker is harmful. She is in the wrong profession. She should be a prison guard not a health care worker. She definitely should not be the face of the doctor's office. She got so caught up in winning a point and being defiant, she never even made a follow-up appointment.Update: the front office worker only faxed 1 of my prescriptions. I had recieved 3. I tried to call to complain to the doctor but she hung up on me 4 times. Finally I told her that she made an error when faxing my prescriptions, she said that "was not her problem" and that I was being "petty". For making an issue of it. It is the oldest trick of an abusive person to blame the person they are abusing for the abuse. The doctor, is knowledgeable, seeming to care about his patients health. But these people have been working their a long time if you read other reviews, he has ignored other complaints. Ultimately, this falls on the primary care doctor as they work for him.Beware of the unhelpful belligerent attitude at the front desk if you go here.Update: 3 hours later:I just solved the issue for myself.I called my insurance company that referred me to this office. I changed doctors.i lodged a complaint about this doctor s office. No one should have to face a wall of belligerence just to see a doctor. Life is too short to put up with tthis petty nonsen

The front desk staff is rude. I tried to explain this to the doctor and she says she has wonderful staff. She nor the staff apologized for the rudeness. I see that many people rave about the staff rudeness. I never had a rude staff member until this particular issue. They have communication issues and when you try to get an understanding they get feisty. I am not going to take anything away from The Doctors they are great but if you want people to return you need that young lady at the window to do better. she is ruining your image. I am so glad i read all these comments. They will try make you feel like their staff is wonderful and with the exception of the front office window girl. it is a great place. the assistant and the lab lady are the best. I can do without the receptionist at the front But if the Dr's don't address her they will continue to get these bad comments. I am probably not going back as they never apologized for any misunderstanding or miscommunication. I have Federal Blue Cross and Blue Shield so i can find a doctor anywhere. They are great doctors but that front girl has to be family because with all these complaints and she is still there.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! The b*tch in the front will charge you for breathing! The staff is rude and beyond disgusting! I gave her one page with a few lines and a signature for the doctor to fill out, this b*tch charged me TWENTY F**KING DOLLARS to write a few lines and sign it. She had to write doctor's name, address, phone #, name of one medication, and a signature. And she called it administrative fee? Administrative????? What work did she do?????? Beyond disgusting! She's a cashier or receptionist or wv the f*ck she is. They are all rude, careless, lack compassion, greedy as f*ck! The doctor is nice but her staff are pure evil. They always have been, and she does nothing. Nothing will ever change in that office, they're all eastern Europeans and have 0 sense of customer service or humanity. Never going back to that office!!!! DISGUSTING

Office supervisor was kind enough to listen to my complaint about her rude staff, but I doubt they will change anything. If you call ask to speak to her and not the rude woman who normally picks up the phone. The receptionist is very short and dismissive with people who do not speak English as their first language and/have an accent. Clearly she has no customer service skills, manners or respect for patients. I will not be going to that office again.
