My daughter has attended here for almost 2 years and everything has been great! She started in the infant classroom and is now in the toddler classroom. She loves all the teachers there and they are so sweet and great! Nothing but good things to say about this place.

We have been with Grandmas finest for almost two years, and had a great experience. The center is so cute, and there are some truly fantastic teachers. The front office staff really cares about the children, and are doing their best to run the school in what appears to be the total absence of the schools director. I learned from another parent they have opened another daycare, while this one is barely functioning. After months of being patient with staffing issues, various managerial failures and a general lack of accountability/ communication, we had to leave for a more stable environment. My son has endured chaos, lost his beloved preschool teacher, and came home with various injuries from mixing class ages, to accommodate a struggling staff. I had to take him to the ER for dehydration, after being in a thick sweater all day (with a 20 degree variance in change from morning to afternoon) that he couldn’t take of himself. He vomited and complained of a headache when I picked him up- I was never notified he was feeling ill, despite him being visibly so. This is what happens when you don’t adequately staff- children are overlooked. They way a company treats its employees, is telling of its character. I have the utmost empathy for the teachers who have stayed and attempted to maintain stability for their students. But each week, more children leave. I hope changes are made, because it was, and should be a great daycare.

My kids have been at grandmas since July of 2022 after their daycare provider closed suddenly. I actually have no complaints about the center nor the teachers. My kids seem to really like and that means a lot to me especially with my daughter because if it’s something she doesn’t like I will hear about it. The only thing is that I’m still waiting to be added to the e-mail list. It’s hard for me to know about “happenings” at the center. Unfortunately due to my medical condition I’m not able to actually go into the center so sometimes things are missed. Other than that keep up the good work!

My husband and I have thought long and hard about what exactly to say about our experience at Grandma's Finest. This is not said maliciously, but simply with honesty and the hope that it either inspires change, or saves other parents from the stress we and our daughter endured. Our experience was solely with the 1-2 year old classroom.Due to changing work circumstances, this was our daughter's 3rd daycare, and I've personally worked in childcare in the past so we have a decent amount of experience to compare to.Grandma's finest was by far our least favorite, to the point that we pulled our daughter out and I took time off work until her spot at a different center opened up.They were chronically understaffed, and the staff that was there was uncaring, uninterested and just going through the motions. Every day when I dropped off my daughter or my husband picked her up, the staff members would be disengaged from the kids -- sitting away from them, and only occasionally yelling at them. We rarely saw any form of positive reinforcement or redirection, mostly just yelling and grabbing them. Staff members that were there daily didn't know children's names, and didn't seem to take the time to get to know the children and their indivualities.Throughout her time there, my daughter became so stressed that she began to hate daycare (when she loved going to both of her previous centers), and began biting herself to the point of leaving multiple marks a day. They also only changed diapers on a schedule and my daughter had several "blowouts" from dirty diapers that weren't changed, when at her other centers and at home it had been over 6 months since her last blowout. They're physically safe as far as I could tell and not being actively harmed which is why I gave 2 stars and not 1. But having spoken to other parents who feel the same way, this place really needs to make some changes.

In September 2020, we brought our 8 week old child to Grandma’s Finest after it was recommended by multiple friends who had their children there. This being our first experience with daycare, we were apprehensive at first, but the teacher we had for that infant class was incredible. She had been with Grandma’s for over a decade and just great with our baby, and so patient with us as new parents. We stayed with Grandma’s when it came time to switch to the 1 year old class, and again, our teacher was incredible. Has been with Grandma’s for a long time and great with kids. Our son learned a lot in this class. This whole time, we were happy enough with what we got for what we paid - occasional email updates from the directors/owners, daily physical logs with diaper changes, meals, nap times (written on paper; no digital logs are done). This August, we moved to the 2 year old class, and the daycare has steadily and rapidly declined since that time. Multiple teachers throughout the daycare suddenly left or were fired, without any communication from directors. The sudden loss of staff meant that remaining teachers were constantly shuffled around, leaving the kids confused and stressed. We very often failed to get a physical log of diaper changes, and the log rarely had any update about naps, and never anything about mealtime. There were small injuries to our child that were never logged (busted lip, bite marks on his arm - things that would have warranted an incident log). When we came to pick up our son, most staff was disengaged from the kids - chatting on their phones, scrolling the internet, etc. And I’m sure there are more concerns that I’ve forgotten by now. It was very sad to leave the daycare that had taken such great care of our child for such a long time, but by the time we left, the center feels unrecognizable from our initial great experiences in the infant and 1 year old classes (our teacher from the infant class has since left, but the 1 year old teacher is still there!). From talking to other parents, and reading these reviews, it seems that our experience is not isolated. At this time, I sadly would not recommend this daycare for parents looking for reliable and structured care for their children.

Similar to another reviewers experience, we were at Grandmas Finest for one year and left when our son had been in the toddler 1 room for a few months. We found that the teachers were consistently overwhelmed, he was getting bit multiple times a week, and they also still use the tables with the bucket seats that prohibit the toddlers from moving around. I’d pick him up and he would more times than not be sitting at the table which I also believe contributed to frequent diaper rash. Communication with the director was also poor. A lot of excuses and never any action for change. There are a few tenured teachers who are great, but there is a lot of turnover. I’ve also noticed even tenured teachers will leave unexpectedly and we never get any communication from management. We’ve been at our new daycare one week and it is night and day. I wish we’d moved him sooner.

I recently had to pull my son out of this daycare immediately. My child was in the pre k classroom and has been there since he was 1. However, the staff and environment have gone down hill. My child was inappropriately touched by another child and went and told someone. I was informed by my child. Thank God he Communicates well. I was informed by the owner/director Kyle that per policy they are not required to inform parents of such incidents on top of that horrible situation. Within the past month, his normal teacher left, multiple people would watch the class or the class would be put with other classes (smaller children) which I had also previously complained about. The center has deteriorated severely and children are not being supervised properly. I pulled my child out immediately and had to search for a new daycare and our family was heavily affected by this. Hope this doesn't happen to another family. Also didn't mention when I picked my child up he had a bruised and swollen face and no teacher reported that as well. If you want to know what's going on with your child. Do not take them here.

I’m so behind in posting this review, as our daughter left Grandma’s Finest about a year ago, but wanted to thank them for the time we were there. Minus several months during the peak of the pandemic in 2020, our daughter attended Grandma’s from the age of 2.5 through the end of pre-k. She absolutely adored her teachers, Ms. Vonda and Ms. Melody—the latter of which was her pre-k teacher, who taught her so well, and both of whom she still speaks fondly of and misses today—and loved going there. I’m not sure if Ms. Deborah, in the front office, is still there, but she was also such a lovely, helpful part of our daily routine at Grandma’s, and our daughter adored her, as well—as did I!It was very apparent to us that the teachers loved their students and really cared for their classrooms. We also got similar vibes from some of the “afternoon/aftercare”-helpers, whom were there long enough for either our daughter to form bonds with (so we’d hear about them) or whom we saw often enough at pickup, to witness their interactions, but there did seem to be a revolving door of these part-time staff members (whom appeared to get younger and younger), which led me to believe that they were either underpaid or the hours/conditions were less than satisfactory, or both. These are just my assumptions/opinions.Management was generally, very communicative and made several positive upgrades to their technology and safety procedures while we were there, and we really appreciated the flexibility offered with drop-off/pick-up times—excluding the start-time of the school day for pre-k, which we understood to be standard—that made our lives SO much easier!Overall, we had a very positive experience with Grandma’s Finest and would consider enrolling our children there again, should the need ever arise.

We have been so happy with the care both of our boys have received over the last two years. All of the staff and management are wonderful. I feel like everyone knows and cares for my kids, not just their individual teachers. It is such a relief to know that your kid is having fun, playing hard, and learning along the way while you are working.

My son attended Grandma’s finest for a year and we loved his teacher in the infant room. We ultimately decided to leave because of the constant turnover of teachers, about 6-7 new teachers the 1 year we were there, and the fact that my son came home with bruises every day. I know that it was not inflicted by staff, but the room that the toddlers were in are extremely small and the teachers were sometimes not attentive, which I did witness. Again, I think this was due to having new teachers all the time and not knowing the students.

I have had all three of my children attend Grandma's Finest over the past 5 years including two of them attending the Pre-K program. I expect my third child attend when she gets to the age next year. Our experience with the management and teachers have been nothing but the best. Over the time we have been there, the main teachers have been pretty consistent, and turn over has been somewhat minimal. If there has been an unexpected change, the new staff member is always warm and friendly to my child. Management always is accommodating when my requests are reasonable and it follows their guidelines and expectations as a business. When my children have medical needs or needs attention, guidelines are strictly followed through in a professional, warm, and kind manner. When there are issues with other staff or other children I am comfortable in asking questions about the situation and the issues are resolved in a professional manner. Teachers are friendly and caring toward the children. They follow their posted curriculum schedule so I know what they are doing throughout the day. As early as the two year old class, the children are learning social skills and being exposed to pre academic learning of letters and numbers. I feel like that my children have established great friendships and have gotten invited to birthday parties with the other kids in the classroom. Now that my older kids are school age, the teachers who had them in their classes still get hugs and appear to be excited to see them.

We LOVED Grandma's Finest!! (We just moved about an hour away so had to switch daycares, but we already miss it so much!). Our son was there for a year, and we had nothing but positive experiences. His teachers were so loving and attentive -- and it was clear every time we dropped him off how much he adored them. The facility wS clean, the management team was wonderful, and the environment was friendly. It's been hard to find a new daycare because nothing seems to compare the experience we had at Grandma's.
