My Truck started acting up and having a hard time changing gears . Someone had heard that I was looking for a place that wouldn't rip me off and cause problems and would do a great job fixing my transmission. I was trying to figure out where I'd take the truck to get fixed someone heard my concerns and recommended me GM transmission;when I called to take in my truck they treated me so great and helped us getting the truck there and if we had problems they took responsibility and fixed it for us, I highly recommend this place .

Hard to find an honest mechanic anywhere but this is definitely one of the good ones... rebuilt a 2007 Acura TL for us, we drove it for 2 months and they absolutely perfected the job as their 1 yr warranty states...if you need a transmission rebuilt, this is the place.

These guys were very courteous. They recommended a tow service and got the transmission rebuilt in my 2005 Grand Prix. Offered a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. So I drove from Atlanta to Birmingham, it seemed as tho it wasn't fully pulling but I think it's me and being nervous about stepping on it when I hit a hill. Now I'm driving from Birmingham to ATL to Ft. Bragg. Arrived at Ft. Bragg, so far it's pulling. I'll keep you guys updated...satisfied thus far ?

I want to give a big shout-out to GM Transmission on Brockett road across from value village. I took my car to a Mercedes service center because the transmission was stuck in first gear, they put in a gear shift replacement assembly for $1,200. 3 months later it was still sticking in first gear. The Mercedes shop told me I needed a new transmission for $5,000. GM transmission was recommended to me, I took my car there and had excellent service at a great price. G at GM transmission fixed it ... it was a computer conductor panel inside the transmission that needed to be replaced, parts and service were $550. He did wonderful, just letting you know if you have transmission issues come up he's honest, and a pleasure to work with.

GM transmission is one of the best companies bar none for rebuilding transmissions foreign or domestic the man who runs this company Gee is very professional honest and has much integrity with these builds I have done several of cars with GM transmission every job was done.
