DO NOT RENT HERE! Pegasus management is the worst! The do not return emails or answer calls. The office staff is non-responsive as well. They never answer the phone. I lived at Five Oaks for 13 years and I enjoyed it before Pegasus took over. Maintenance requests take forever, my apt constantly smelled like weed. Complaints go unaddressed. I recently relocated for a new job opportunity and vacated my apt on 2/10, my least was up on 2/14. The last communication I received from Yakita on 2/19 was that it would take up to 30 days to receive my deposit check, I paid my remaining balance on 2/22. I have not received my deposit. I’ve made numerous calls to the office and 2 calls to Corporate with no call back. I’ve sent several emails to the office staff with no answer. Save yourself the headache and do not rent here, I would never rent another property owned by Pegasus again. There was no damage to my apartment as is evident in the pics. They have no reason to hold my deposit.

Yakita was very helpful on the process of transferring units. She is also very responsive! The community is great as well as all the amenities. Yakita made sure the move in was a smooth as it could be! Thank you Yakita you are AWESOME.

The apartment complex gives me mixed feelings. Sometimes they just can’t get it right and it’s frustrating. But individually the people (front office staff Yakita and the young lady that sits in front of her) are very nice and try to resolve the problems. Maintenance is decent. Cecil comes in and tries to fix the things and offers options to fix as well. Always well tempered and understanding. He fixed 4 issues in one day.However corporate needs to do better. We pay a lot of money to live here and it seems like all they do is sell and buy this property which doesn’t allow for consistency.

I moved into Five Oaks Apartments on September 1st 2023. I was told it was a gated community. The lies. It is now December 7 2023 and the gates have only been closed 4 days. They keep giving excuses but that is not good enough. I specifically asked about the gates before moving in. Another issue on the day I moved in was I was told not to change my address for a few weeks because they couldn't give me a mailbox key because they needed to change the locks on the mailboxes because previous residents haven't returned keys. That is not my problem. I didn't receive a key for over 2 weeks. The maintenance requests never get taken care of until you call them after you requested 2 weeks and you have to complain. The apartments are nice but they don't keep the breezeways clean. For all the money I pay I should be able to have all the amenities that were told to me before I moved in but I don't. I had to reach out to the owners because they act like they are doing residents a favor by letting us liv there. The best thing about the complex is the young lady Stowe who works in the office. She is the sweetest person and tries to be as helpful as possible.

I had the pleasure of touring with Yakita. I can’t say enough about her patience and customer service. She clearly loves her job and helping people. I’m excited to be moving in at the end of the month. I look forward to making this community home.

My experience with this apartment so far has been eventful?the staff is actually very nice especially Mrs. Philips (idk if I spelled her name right) she can get pretty much anything resolved within minutes and i truly appreciate her for that. Due note that if you're looking for a apartment that has plenty of parking space this apartment would not be for you it has limited parking and it's partially due to summer break so everyones at home most of the time now and if you want to avoid creepy crawlers I would ask for a unit in the back and not in-front of the dumpster (although they have pest control) its gated so its pretty safe and residents are pretty respectful to your peace and quiet its also a prefect place for pets they have a pet spa and park inside of the community but unfortunately no playground so if you have kids im sorry - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Staff is great, location is convenient. Application process was smooth and easy. The move in process was simple, the pet amenities are some of the best that an apartment community has that I have stayed in .

I just moved in few days ago and from the very first phone call to my move in date was easy and professional at all times. Joshua was and is a GREAT person. He truly cares about the residents and always kind. Joshua helped me every step pf the way and never once made me feel like I was a bother to him. Thank you Joshua because of you I have a new home.

I had the best experience with leasing office on finding a new unit to transfer into.Joshua Quiniones was amazing from the initial property tour to the final lease signing, he was always available to answer my questions and provide guidance. His knowledge of the property and the leasing process was truly impressive, and I appreciate the time he took to ensure that I understood all aspects of the lease agreement.Again, thank you for your exceptional service and support.

Update: My husband, son, and I have finally moved into our beautiful apartment. The apartment unit that we leased is more like a house. Brittany was so kind, as well as the property manager. Our move in was smooth. The neighborhood is safe and there are things to do 10 minutes away from our apartment. I must say that I am very pleased with this apartment. We have a fireplace and several other amenities that we are pleased with. This will be our last stop before purchasing our home in the next two years. PLEASE STOP BY AND LEASE A UNIIT. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

I must say, Brittany and Stephanie made the application process smooth. My husband, son, and I toured the apartment in early January, and we finally applied last Wednesday, and was approved Friday. The apartment complex is quiet and is near a highway. Although it's located close to the highway, you can barely hear it unless you are out on your balcony. They kept in contact with me and made sure that my anxiety was at a minimal. I am pleased to say that we will be moving into our new apartment next month, and I cannot wait! Thank you to the Five Oaks team!
