Goodwill has went downhill fast last few years, quality of donations is low must be the economy. Books are old outdated and sporting good are non existent. Value village down the street has much more recent stuff

The Goodwill has been a staple in my life. This is where my granny has always taken me to search, hunt, and find some gently used deals. Yesterday, I had about a 5-minute conversation with YenkaTruitt at the Goodwill in Tucker. She would not sell this softball glove to me because it had two stickers on it. I told her I would pay either price, $2.99 or $1.99 hell add em up. SHE REFUSED. I told her how stupid this was and could I speak to the manager. SHE WAS. She told me again...she couldn't sell the item to me because of the double stickers. I said what if I pulled 1 of them off? SHE WOULD NOT. I said well it's just me, you and my son here. We're the only ones that know. She said I could be a secret shopper. I told her I was not. She even mentioned something about the price coulda been altered. I asked her if she was accusing me of such. YAL KNOW MY POSITIVE MESSAGE DON'T STOP. She did not sell it to me. .... Goodwill Industries International, Inc. Yenka Truitt at the Tucker store should get a raise, a promotion, and her own store. She would not allow me to spend money with you because of a policy you have in place. I understand no price on an item. I saw a few of those and did not put them in my cart (a donut tin in the back - we like to bake - I left that one, cause I knew better). But there are two prices on this glove. She should have had the authority to pick one. I thought the goodwill was my friend. BOY IF MY GRANNY WAS IN TOWN....the assistant manager woulda got an earful.

This is one of the two cleanest, neatest Goodwills I have been to in the US. I've been to Goodwills in twenty different States. The reason I'm rating them a 3 is the prices, and book inventory. Their prices are consistently high. For instance, they were charging 6.97 for a small fan another Goodwill charged me 2.92 for. The book inventory is good, except they are not organized. The buyer has to look at every book on every shelf. Other stores have their books organized. Pleasant personnel.

This location is quickly becoming one of my favorite ones in North GA. This Goodwill is my go-to for sweaters and shoes! They also have a very good jewelry selection. Store is always clean, I never have to wait in line and it never seems to be too crowded (always a plus). Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

This store is relatively new. It is set up like all other Goodwill's in ATL with everything in almost the same place.
