The store has come a long way since it’s opening with previously empty shelves, no employees to be found. Could not keep the doors open because there was no one to work. Several changes in management. Now the store has fully stocked shelves and employees who are always eager to help. Much appreciated in our neighborhood.

I go here often, so often that it's a (light-hearted) joke among some of the employees and myself. I will go to this location, even when it's out of my way to avoid the other nearby locations, and have a positive experience. Every employee I have interacted with at this location has always been very helpful and friendly. They are also hard-working & busy due to most Dollar Generals keeping themselves short-staffed. If the employees aren't actively helping a customer they are busy cleaning, unloading carts, stocking, and facing shelves. This location has a clean lot with good parking, the bathroom has always been clean when I've used it, the freezer section is stocked and actually cold, the only time carts are out of the the floor is while an employee is actively emptying it so no have shopping off carts and no bumping your fingers, toes, and buggy on them (like at the Higdon/AL Hwy-71 location), and they have a wide variety of products. Not to invalidate others' experiences, but I think a few reviewers have this location mixed up with one of the other Trenton locations or the Higdon location.

I went there for my cat food. However there was no cat food. And was told they haven't had any cat food delivered in over a month.
