The Salvation Army really uses the financial and in-kind resources available to help anyone who seeks assistance. It is most helpful to the staff when folks seeking assistance bring a bit of respect and gratitude and lots of understanding.

Refused to help my wife and newborn when they had nowhere to go. Had to beg them to even let me inside to speak to someone. I thought all Salvation Army offices were supposed to be open facilities. Brenda needs to be fired

As a whole salvation army is a world changing organization. At the toccoa store they are such an equality opportunity employer that they let a visibly mentally disturbed man be assistant manager and berate employees in front of customers and refuse to help his workers. The manager not only allows the mistreatment of employees but encourages silence from employees that speak up. Shop at habitat.

I do not recommend going to the salvation army for help. They will not help you and the people that run the Toccoa Ga office are very rude. I will be contacting their main office to file a complaint.
