Horrible experience.. my ac was working just fine until i got them to put in a new power blower motor for AC.. They couldn’t find the problem.. had my car a couple days… charged me for a recharged of ac for 137. Ac wasn’t blowing cold.. took care of to Oil masters.. fixed my car in a day ..

I can't say enough about how great the folks at Grimes Auto Service are. As we were heading to Daytona Beach for our annual family vacation, my truck broke down. We were 2 1/2 hours from home and 4 hours from the beach. We made it to Grimes and those guys worked on my truck for 3 1/2 hours and got us back on the road again. I was thinking my bill would be $600 minimum but it wasn't even half that. I couldn't have got it repaired at home for what they charged me. Those guys were a Godsend and made me realize that there are some really good people left in this world. God bless their shop and everyone in it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!!! I took my car here for an oil change. They put my car on a rack that I have had done at other shops with no issues before. When done they backed my car off and cracked my front bumper. The tech said he pulled it on to far forward and damaged my bumper. Chris the manager/Owner complained that my car was to low and blamed me for the damage and didn’t want to pay to fix it and put me in a loaner car or rental for the week it’s gonna take to fix what they caused!!! Do not use this shop! They are very reluctant to stand behind their work!!! Go at your own risk!! Especially if you are BLACK!!!!! Posted: June 17, 2024

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!
Truck was skipping so i took it to where i had heard was the best. Still not running good and after process of elimination and over $1000 spent on other repairs, was told that it had a cracked head. All they had to do was to do a pressure test. Left it there for 4 weeks. They wouldn't even call me back to let me know so i had to stop by and pick up my truck. Very poor customer service!! I won't be going back.

This is by fair the most wonderful and remarkable service I have ever had. They were fair, swift and accurate. They were also kind beyond anything I expected. I was traveling and in the middle of my 8 hour trip my car broke down. I will never go anyplace else. I would recommend these kind people to anyone. Their knowledge and helpfulness is a one.

I brought my 2019 Chrysler 300s to Grimes on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 because my check engine light was on. A diagnostic was performed on my car, and I was told that their was an error code P0128 because of the thermostat. The thermostat was replaced as well as the gasket. I paid $239.58 thinking that the issue was resolved. By Thursday, my check engine light was back on and my car was now shaking indicating it was misfiring. I returned to Grimes on Friday morning. Another diagnostic was performed and this time I was told by the mechanic that it had misfired at a .3 today and .1 on Tuesday. I was never told that the engine had misfired on Tuesday until I brought it back on Friday. As a result, he replaced 6 spark plugs and the ignition coil. I was told that the spark plugs were burned and damaged. I paid a $510.76 and was told I just "needed a tune up". On Saturday morning, my check engine light was back on! I was livid at this point because it appeared that they were only treated the symptoms of a much bigger problem and never informed me of what the BIGGER problem was. So, when they opened on Monday, May 6th, 2024, I returned wanted answers! After about 3 hours, the owner, Mr. Grimes told me it was my catalytic converter. I asked him why was I never informed about this issue. He stated that when an engine misfires he trains his mechanics to only treat the first code and that he can't control what goes wrong on these cars. My issue is that they were aware of the major issue the entire time and instead of informing me about the major issue that took my money and put a band-aid on it by treating the symptoms! This is unacceptable. I was never told that my car misfired on Tuesday, April 30th until I returned with the check engine light on yet again. I was also never told that other codes appeared on the diagnostic, until I returned the third time with my engine light still on! So, after spending $750.34 my check engine light is still on! If I were told on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 that it was the catalytic converter, I could have parked my car and scheduled an appointment with the dealership to fix this issue. Instead, I continued to drive it thinking that the service they provided fixed the issued, when all they did was treat a symptom and allowed me to create more by continuing to drive it!

After a long working trip to Florida, my old truck(and trailer full.of art!) broke down on my way back to North Georgia. Grimes was very busy, but got the diagnosis (cracked radiator!) and replacement done for me that day and I made it home by dark. As a female traveling alone, they were very kind and acommodating and even got me all hooked up to my trailer. Kindness is so important! Thank you to the mechanics and the office staff. Well done!

This is a fantastic local mechanic shop! They were very informative and no one there was in a bad mood about the fact they were at work. Quoted me a price and because it took them less time, they only charged me for what they did. I would never have known how long it took. Integrity!! 100% amazing customer service! Called with an emergency situation and they told me they could fit me right in. They didn't have the part I needed, so they left to get the part! This is the most expensive shop in Tifton Ga. They are rude and don’t care about customers. They do have a customer base and some local people will take there cars nowhere else. Look at all reviews. I’ve never seen any business try to explain a review away and try to make the customer wrong and them write. Anyone can go wherever they want to have there vehicles worked on. You have been given a honest review of this company. They also have the highest rate per hour in three counties. If you are a black person if they work on your vehicle you will be charged more than white. They are Christian people too and have no problem being hypocrites. I would give them a negative star if I could. I took my daughter to have her car to have tests ran and have parts replaced. When we finally were called to pick it up, the car did have the parts put on it, though there was still a noise, and the radio no longer worked. We called to let them know and was told to bring it back so they could look at it. That is what we did. They kept the car for a week longer and we never received a phone call until the day came to pick it up.When we arrived there was damage to the inside of the car and the radio still didn't work. When we asked for them to repair the damages they wanted to charge over 1000 to repair the damages they caused, on top of the 80 they charged for it to be looked at, and claimed the car was an older model and so brittle that the damages could not be helped and not their fault. Haha. That is NOT true. Now we had other mechanics look at it and they were in disbelief at what this small family business had done. Instead of offering to repair damages after being paid 2000 to repair my college daughter's car, they wanted to charge her to repair their carelessness. There was no reason for these damages to be done. After seeing these reviews and them claiming to be a small family business, they should be more caring than they are being it is a small family business. Not for it to be used as a defense for their carelessness. Now we have to pay another mechanic to repair the damages.Services: Electrical
