Been there a few times in the past to dock for a few hours to go to Tubbies, was told the last time a year ago to make sure to call ahead to reserve a transient spot, understandable. I called on Friday of Labor Day weekend, asked specifically for a couple hours at noon on Saturday to have lunch at Tubbies, and was told they don't take reservations, I was told that it was hit or miss/ 1st come 1st served and if I arrived early enough should be no problem. So after planning our day with friends around that, cruising 25 miles from Hilton Head, arriving well before noon, we were greeted at the dock (with plenty of open dock spaces) with them saying there was going to be NO transient docking that day because they were too busy. Very disheartening. With obvious poor communication among the staff my suggestion is to now count on what they say, double check, and have other plans ready just in case.

We have had a boat here for many years. The facility is nice and clean, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great views and a great place to dock!

A small but friendly marina. The dock hands were very friendly and helpful. There is a newish building that houses the office, a small retail place, a great screened in lounging area, as well as the restrooms and laundry. All was well maintained and very clean.

Safe Harbor Bahia Bleu Marina was amazing! The employees at this marina are the happiest people! Buck was awesome when we arrived on a very windy day and helped move us to our spot off of the fuel dock a couple days later when the wind finally let up. The dock hands, office staff were all so pleasant and helpful. The facilities are great too! They even have a huge screened porch, laundry and even parking for our quests! Highly recommend! We were traveling south on the intercoastal and needed ti get a replacement fan belt and other supplies. Called for dockage with no reservation and the folks there set me up. They let me tie-up out board on their dock while I search for a fan belt. Found a fan belt at Autozone and berr at the marina store. I was on my way in a couple hours. The folks were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stop there again.
