I have been using the grocery pick-up at the Thomson Walmart since the pandemic. Until the last month I have been very satisfied. Good communication, good products and good customer service. The last two times I have purchased through the pick-up, there was no communication. No text or email to inform me of the status of my order. Yesterday my order was supposed to be picked up between 7 and 8:00 pm. I had no communication from Walmart so before I left, I called and got a recording which said they would get back to me. After about 20 minutes, I called again with the same recording. At 8:30, I went to the store.There were NO cars in the pick-up area. Sat in the pick-up area and called again. Got the same recording. Went into the dirty store and nobody was at Customer Service, Flagged down a very helpful employee who said almost everyone in the front had been sent home at 2:00. I could have walked off with the store if I was dishonest! Not a single register was open. A very nice lady from the pick-up came to talk to me after the employee found her and she said my order had been rescheduled for two days later.Of course, I wasn't notified of that. If I had needed my groceries two days later, I would have scheduled them two days later!! The root problem has to be poor management. I do not intend to buy another item from this store unless improvements are madel in the management of the store.
