I recently had a transmission problem with my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. I stopped at Jacks BP for an A/C repair, and when the mechanic was driving my truck around to be worked on, he called me over and told me that I had an significant transmission problem. They referred me to Tommy Boys transmission repair there in Thomasville, so that's where I took it. I'm a handicapped veteran and use a wheel chair to get around, and they were very kind and accommodating to my limitations.
When they put my truck on the lift they pointed out that my U-joint was barely still holding together and they replaced it. The transmission problem was addressed and repaired, with the truck running better than it had in years. I am grateful for their amazing skills to repair my truck, however the Most impressive part of this encounter was the kindness shown to me, but also their integrity and honesty concerning their repairing of my truck. I had never owned a vehicle that had a transmission problem, so I was totally at their mercy to fix this problem for me. I would highly recommend them for any transmission repairs that you may encounter. They were very fair with their pricing as well.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Don’t take your vehicle here. Took our truck there and Brian did not do us right. 3500 dollars later transmission still not fixed. But he does not warranty his work so he just dismissed us. We winded up taking our truck to another transmission shop that is doing us right. Very niece honest man that is working with us and not making us feel like we did something wrong. Don’t trust this shop. Bad people.

Bryan did an amazing job on my impala. He was super nice and very helpful. He was in constant communication with me. He even educated me on how to keep up with the maintenance on my car.. definitely recommend!!

I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Tommy Boys Performance Transmissions. I showed up one afternoon, upset and desperate for help. Brylee McNichols was awesome as she listened to my problem and called Brian McNichols. They let me leave my car, with no previous arrangement. The next day Brian took the time to speak with my brother, son and myself in depth about what had or more importantly, had not been done to my car by the previous mechanic. He took time to show me and explain everything that was needed. All this happened before any payment was even made. They were amazing, between Brylee and Brian they kept me informed. I'm now back in my car and it drives perfect. It had been with the previous mechanic almost 4 months and still was undrivable. Tommy Boys had me going within a day of getting my transmission in. You don’t realize how important a vehicle is until you go without one. There’s nothing more important than honesty and integrity in the auto service industry. I had to learn that the hard way but you can’t go wrong with Tommy Boys Performance Transmissions! Thank you again, especially Brian and Brylee for all your help!

This place is awesome. I’m a mail carrier and they keep my vehicles in great shape. They are the only ones to go to for transmission needs.
