I have a covered carport that they only put my mail in every other time…. But the biggest issue is that if they aren’t dropping my packages off at the wrong house they don’t drop it off at all and mark it as delivered and I have a camera system so I can tell you they NEVER came at all!

I’ve been to lots of post offices in my 40 years, and this is by far the slowest and the worst. Every. Single. Time. they take forever.

Google says this location closes at 5. I walk in at 4:32. Two customers were finishing up at the counter. When one customer was done, the worker said, "We're closed" in an annoyed tone. I said, "Oh! Google says you close at 5:00. ". Her response was, "Sorry. We've closed at 4:30 the last two years" - as though I should know that information. 1.) Google has it wrong. 2.) It's not posted on their door. 3.) I don't live in Thomaston and 4.) until today, I've never been at this location at closing time, so unless I'm an employee at this location, how was I supposed to know they close at 4:30? To add insult the injury, the lady didn't offer to help me and I just needed a stamp. It would have taken 2 minutes of her time. I guess customer service is a thing of the past.

It says this location closes at 5pm BUT it's always closed before that time. I arrived today at 440-445pm just to find the metal gate already pulled down, even though I could see an employee still standing there. Soooooo what time does this office close??? The 5pm has been removed from the door and is now blank.

It is exactly 4:37pm now. The post office doesn’t close until 5pm. Two ladies at the front closed the front desk door while I was inside taping up my package. Not to mention, I borrowed the tape from her! I could see if they had a kiosk to self serve but that was just rude. We knocked on the window because we thought they stepped away for a minute. They just left us standing there until we left.

The Employee at Thomaston ga post office name Sherie is very rude and Unprofessional she has No caring customer service skills! David is very good and caring. People these days want people to go online and not help people in the real world! Poor service from Sherie!

Sherie, at the Thomaston Ga location.. has EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!! I missed my package due to being at work, and went to pick it up and then she told me to be back before 5 and I was and still no package in my hand today! She got an attitude with me as if she wasted her time at all to brush me off! She told me I could schedule a redelivery, I tried to do that and well, it says it’s not allowed!!!! So what am I supposed to do when I have to work!!!! I paid for this package that I CANT GET!!!!

So whoever delivering the mail in Ruthie Manor is giving everybody the wrong mail I done ended up with so many people mail and one of my neighbors just gave me my mail that came in their mailbox like get it together or get a new job cause this ain’t working for u FrFr

If I could give this place a zero star I would, my mail always ends up at my neighbors house my packages always go missing and never get delivered and the mail person always forget my packages and puts I said I will pick up at a later date when I did not then when you call to complain it’s a 1800 # that you can never reach anybody on and I’m finally so done with this postal service I’m coming on here to share my thoughts about my local mail delivery
