I would NOT recommend this bank. They are behind the times or something. Everytime I go to use my card it declines. When I called the bank asking why my card kept declining they were super rude and told me basically it wasn’t true because nothing was showing it was declined. Yet the card won’t even let me buy anything and I have to use cash or another card. Therefore the card is NOT working, It’s extremely frustrating. One of the cashiers at a store I went to said it is very common with customers using United Bank cards for them to decline. Another time I went in there it took so long because their whole system was down and I had to come back another day to even open a bank account. I should have known then. I am switching banks and I’m sure that will even be a huge hassle to get my money out to go to another bank. Go somewhere else! They also don’t even have the “tap” option on their cards which is crazy because every other card or bank does and it makes it much easier to pay with card.

Trey was the epitome of customer service. I had my deposit incorrect and he corrected it and helped me with my cash. Brianna was also courteous and friendly.

I wasn’t happy with the slow speeds of Brent and how it took half and hour to do 2 small deposits and to get some change for our store i’ve never had this issue with anyone but him and i would prefer to wait a bit longer for any other person to open up as i value my time to open a store properly

United Bank of Thomaston is wonderful. The tellers and customer services reps are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been banking with them for over thirty years!! I love United!

Customer service is subpar. Incapable of handling large deposits(meaning they don't have the capability of calling another bank to verify funds to be transferred).

I love their friendlyness when I go in if I need help with anything pertaining to my account they always answer me. I had an incident and they kept my account safe by canceling my card because of fraudulent activity they keep your money safe and I love that thank you united

My husband and I are extremely impressed with United Bank in Thomaston! Pete and the team were the only bank in Thomaston willing to work with my husband being a Canadian citizen. We are grateful for this level of trust established with United bank. The entire staff has been such a pleasure to work with. Tahesia Thomaston helps us handle issues with such professionalism and the BEST attitude! Every staff member literally has me leave the bank with a smile. Thanks United bank for not only being helpful, but being delightful while doing so.
