The workers followed my husband around like he was going to steal something and when he asked for help were extremely rude and said they didn’t have what he needed, I went inside and found it no problem and they didn’t say anything to me. Poor customer service if you ask me

Man! I went into this Dollar General today at lunch and upon entering I had to stop to take a look around to ensure I was at the right location. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE seen a Dollar General so smacking clean. I was so amazed that I went down every isle and even peeked in the store room door which was cracked-this was utterly amazing to me. As I approached the register an associate by the name of Tiffany Dutton was helping another customer. Shocking enough was that she acknowledged me and ensured that she will be with me shortly. Once she had finished she swiftly approached and lead myself along with other customers to the register. I had to applaud her and a young man by the name of Roger Padgett, they were the only two in the store and handled the customer flow with an honorable since of urgency.I told Ms. Dutton that I would like to do an review in regards to my experience, and guess what? she so selflessly provided her name and Rogers name. But wait... She even provided her Managers name Jennifer Sapp even though she was not present. This is the exemplification of an power team, one in which companies can only dream about. WOW!I don't normally do reviews, however this one stands to be talked about. I went to Dollar General for the first time in a few months and they had a young lady who was so helpful, and kind. Not only that she made me feel welcome. When I thanked her for her kindness she told me she really loved her job and it was very obvious that she did. Great day at Dollar General!

This store is never stocked and reeks of cigarettes. I can't stand even going in the door.

When you shop Temple Dollar General look at the price on the shelves and compare them with the checkout price. On the items I buy it's more at the checkout than listed on the shelves. I expect to pay the price that's on the shelf underneath the product. I don't like doing business at a place like that.

I wouldn't even give this store a one star if I could do a review without it. I guess corporate doesn't pay any attention to their stores. I worked retail for 15 years and was manager. If my corporate was to ever come in my store and it look like this one does everyone would be gone. The store is always a mess and the shelves are always empty. You ask the employees if they have something and they will say prob in the back but not stocked. Why wouldn't you stock your shelves why leave them bare like that. There is more empty selves then product on the shelf. I work for a company that sends me in there to shop for customers and i always have to inform the customer there out of half there order. Example I went in yesterday customer needed 15 items i was able to get 5 items they were out of the rest and simple things like a snickers bar. I NEVER go personal shopping in that store. Corporate needs to either get it cleaned and stocked or close it down. But instead they had rather discourage people from ever stepping foot in any of their stores.

I use to love this store. When it first opened there was a sweet little man running the store. Not sure what happened to him but he was a good manager or whatever he was. I just went to the store. It was a total mess. There was out of date product on the shelf. Thete was cooler items on the shelves throughout the store randomly. Chocolate milk, Pillsbury can cinnamon rolls, Edward's pie just sitting on shelf out of coolers. The health department needs to go to this store and check it out. I won't be back until it gets cleaned up. Its ashame
