I usually take my car here to get a oil change.They always do a great job and are efficient and quick.All of the guys there are professional and great.Recommend for a quick oil change.(Also got my break pads changed, fair rates and professional.)

We drove all the way from South Fulton to take our car in, as we had the check engine light on and also needed an oil change. Out of every auto repair shop in the greater Atlanta area, Ming has the highest proportion of 5 star reviews, which you'll notice on the breakdown on this page. I called Anthem who also had great reviews (though not as impressive proportion wise) and they wanted to charge 100 to diagnose the check engine light.Mings changed my oil and did the diagnostic for 60 dollars, full synthetic. I know you don't leave tips at a car shop, at least I've never heard of it, but I almost left them a great tip, as I was amazed at the service provided. If I wasn't unemployed right now, I definitely would have left them the tip, but I was cheap in that moment. A 5 star Yelp review though can be worth a lot to a business, so I guess this is my tip!They told me the sensor that caused the check engine light was fine, and they didn't see anything wrong with the car at all. I could feel that the owner is a good person, and his employees all seemed really nice/honest as well. I just felt like I was in great hands, and I really trust these guys. I would recommend making the long drive if this isn't that close to you, because the value of having a trusted mechanic work on your car is the best. I will go to these guys as long as I live in the Atlanta area. Thank you Ming's Automotive, keep up the excellent work!!!

Joe and Vincent always do a great job on my old Acura. I really appreciate them for their quick response and accurate diagnosis plus the reasonable charge. I am embarrassed to say that I always call Vincent the wrong name, so sorry.

I've been coming to Ming's for years since my cars have a knack for developing issues whenever I sit in traffic in Atlanta. I've put in plenty of money into repairs/maintenance jobs at Ming's but I've never regretted it. Prices are clear, communication is responsive, and service turnaround is quick. Vincent and Joe are easy to work with and it's obvious from how packed the lot is with cars.

Other than one Hyundai dealership, I've never taken my car in for repair anywhere else since I moved to Atlanta almost 7 years ago. I had a clunking noise coming from my steering column. I found out this wasn't covered by any warranty on my car, and I really didn't want to take it to the dealership because their history with me is that whenever I brought my car in for scheduled maintenance, they would always find a few things that needed to be repaired or replaced, many times things that were in reality not high priorities. I first found what what wrong with my car by researching. Found out that this wasn't high priority, just annoying, but I really should have it repaired, just for peace of mind. I called Ming's on Monday, asking if I could get an appointment, after telling the employee what the issue was. He told me what the repair should be, told me that he didn't have the part in inventory that needed to be replaced, and scheduled me for Thursday (today) first thing in the morning so that he could order the part and have it in by the time of my appointment. Today, I arrived, gave him my name, told him the information that he needed and handed him the keys. I didn't sign anything. However, I asked him for an estimate, and approximately when my car would be ready to pick up. He told me the estimate and that it should be ready in about 2 hours. An hour and a half later, he called me while I was at a nearby cafe, and told me that my car was ready. No more clunking noise! I was very pleased with their laid back manner, knowledge of this issue (if this would've been my dealer, they would've said, "Well, we can't be too sure because there may be more issues with your car."), and it didn't cost more than their estimate. I also didn't find oil/grease stains in my car like I've found many times after leaving my dealership. There were no upsells, or "Hey, we found this issue. Do you want to bring your car back for us to fix it?" Yes, it was a great experience to me.

Love this place. They have been taking care of my 2004 Yukon XL Denali for a number of years. It is refreshing to find an honest, knowledgeable and friendly auto shop. How many shops do you know that would tell you about an issue with your vehicle but then advise you to wait to do a repair or not do a repair at all because it isn't worth it. The vast majority of shops just pad your bill with as much as they can convince you or scare you into spending. I always feel like Ming's looks out for my repair expenses as if they were their own. And when repairs are completed, they are done efficiently and at great prices that tend to be below most other repair shops. Vincent (owner) and Joe (mechanic) are great guys and are SMART. I tell all of my friends to bring their vehicles to Ming's, unequivocally the best shop that I know of and have used in Atlanta.

Mings is the only place I take my car. They are honest, efficient and take pride in the work they do. I have never left there feeling like "they got over on me". They know their stuff! This is by far, the best mechanic shop in Metro Atlanta. And there are plenty of things to do while you wait for your car...I went and got acupuncture at Chung's next door lol

I was tired of dealership prices and decided to take my car here instead for routine maintenance. They were able to have me come in same day and charged me $100 less than the dealership for what I needed done. Quick and efficient. Thanks again guys!

I was so happy to find this honest, reasonably priced mechanic that I am willing to drive across town to have my car serviced here. The dealer told me I needed a repair that would cost $1500. These guys looked it over and told me I didn't need it all and explained why the dealer had made the wrong diagnosis.

I had an ac compressor replaced last year and my wife recently had some transmission work done at Mings. They are very fair and reliable. It's nice to find a reliable auto repair shop.

I had a really easy experience here. I called beforehand and they told me their next availability. I dropped my car on a Wednesday morning, they called me that afternoon to tell me the issue and ordered the parts, and it was ready by Thursday afternoon. They noticed a separate issue that they brought to my attention, but it wasn't immediately necessary so I'll save that for a later date. I'll definitely be coming back to Ming's for all my future car issues!
