The only reason for the 2 star and not a one star is because I really like the Branch Manager. She is super sweet and appears to put the customer first.
The reasons that I would recommend staying clear of Synovus is they seem to employ dishonest folks (not all, but some). I was told by one floor personnel (an Indian gentleman sitting behind a desk as you walk in, at the Johns Creek location), that I was being charged for a bank transfer, and when I asked if he would talk with the Manager about removing the charge, he said he would. Upon my return to the bank about a week or so later, he stated that the Manager said I would have to pay the fee. When I saw the Manager while there, she said she was never told about the fee/ issue, but would gladly offer a credit. This guy out right lied and was still employed several weeks after going back in there. The biggest reason I left Synovus, and hope no one else becomes a victim, is the fact that I was harassed when trying to take out monies to buy precious metals and such. I was called and told that I needed to show proof that I bought metals and such and any other receipts that I had. I was questioned like you wouldn't believe and I hope no one else has to go through such an ordeal. This was harassment for just trying to take out "my money" and not such large sums of it at that. I was told that if I didn't show receipts then they would have to close my account. I told them I would help them by closing it before they did and look for a bank that truly cares about their customers.
I recommend getting your money out, if you are currently a customer, and staying far far away if you're looking for a bank.

The branch manager of Indian heritage is extremely rude and condescending. I suspect he is the branch manager. Everytime I go there he is always rude to me. Today I had to ask him if he heard me say hello. I repeated myself so many times. He even yelled at me and walked away from me a couple of times in drive through. This is a disappointing experience and I may just move my entire money out of Synovus strictly because of his horrible service.

I’m shocked by the negative reviews here!! I had a chance to visit this branch that is opposite of kroger on peachtree parkway!! I was given the best service out of all!! So i would definately recommend this branch very professional!!! Earlier i was banking with bank of America no doubt about the service but i like this one better they have zero balance free checking account opportunity too!! If somebody else broke like me they r most welcome here coz there is no fee for monthly maintenance like bank of America do!! No balance transfers fee and lot more!!!

Awesome bank. I am very surprised at the negative reviews here... my experience has been nothing short of great. I am leaving PNC (terrible terrible bank from a small business perspective). Within 48 hours, I had multiple accounts set up, a business line of credit, and a commercial automobile loan approved; all of which PNC denied. In fact, during my frustration with PNC, I asked the PNC loan officer (sarcastically), "Well, can you recommend a good small business friendly bank?" He replied... "try Bank of North Georgia." Best recommendation ever!

Bank of North GA as a whole is by far the most unorganized and disrespectful bank I have used. They have no follow through and have ZERO respect for there customers. Yes, the tellers and bankers are kind and chit chatty.. beyond that they are useless. The bank manager is by far the worst of all. Rather than deal with what may seem like a difficult situation they throw you over to customer care.. who then throws you back to the bank manager.. who's suddenly unavailable and unable to take your call.... oh but don't worry.. they promise to call you back.. only they NEVER do. Save yourselves the headache of dealing with a bank that doesn't know a thing about business and stick with one of the larger institutions, wells fargo, regions. BTW, this is the 1st negative review I've given.. ever!

This location needs more people ... everything I come to the drive through there is only my car and another car and it takes them 15min .... I'm patient but I think it's should take this long . .. today it actually took them close to 20min with only 3 cars here I wondereally how many people work at this location
