My family has been with this medical office for about 4 years. All of the doctors are amazing and professional . They never rush. They give you all of their attention to your special needs. They truly care about you and your health. Checking in and out, the girls are great and friendly. I mean everyone who works here are top notch. I highly recommend them. You won’t regret it. I appreciate and love this office ( everyone) Thank you so much! Anxiety and stressful Free office! Again thank you !!

My experiences here been ok but lately had to wait a bit longer before being seen by a Doctor inspite of being checked in on time.Secondly , I feel this medical practice’s link with Lab Corp diagonistics is hellbent towards syphoning a lot of money from the patient.Never in my life have i lately felt harrased by multiple bills over a blood tests perfomed.Lastly , there was a day i visited and when i was placed in my a room for vitals , figured out that the disposable paper sheet on the stretcher bed was not changed after another patient (Could see the imprint) where they were seated as well as curls on the sheets suggesting someone was seated.It may have been an oversight but it was a total turn off.

I’ve been a patient with Dr Betty Mincey for two years and she is an excellent provider. She is caring, kind, and helpful. For a sick visit, I saw Dr. Gonzalez recently and she was so rude and condescending. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or what, but she treated me badly. At the sick visit for hives, I received a positive pregnancy test so I asked her if certain medicines were ok to take during pregnancy (to carry me over until I was able to see my OBGYN for the first time) and she told me to google the answers… literally. I will never see Dr. Gonzalez again and wouldn’t recommend you to either.
Update: A few hours after leaving the above review, Dr Shukri Makhlouf called me (on a Sunday no less!) to ask for details about my negative experience so he could address the issue. He made me feel heard and his rapid response assured me that this place has a good team that is trying to improve it constantly. I’d already said I’d be continuing care with Sugarloaf Medical since my primary doctor is excellent but this made me reaffirm my decision. Thank you Dr Makhlouf!

I'm a new patient since moving to Suwanee last fall and have had three appointments. This is an excellent practice- with kind, professional, knowledgeable providers and staff; clean, modern facilities; quick test results online. You can reach someone by phone easily, get an appointment quickly, and the time in the waiting room is brief. The phlebotomists are the best I've experienced anywhere- almost painless blood draws. As someone who once had phlebitis and some terrible experiences with needles, I really appreciate their skill. Glad my daughter recommended Sugarloaf Medical!

MY PAIN MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE !?!?!?!
I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any doctors office ever today speaking with NP Alana Gardner, Dr. Shukri George Makhlouf, and Tatiana. My primary care provider is Dr. Betty Mincey who I love going to and have actually established a relationship with as my PCP for over 2 years now. She has been out this month - my appt on Feb 2nd was canceled and I needed one of my APPROVED and previously subscribed migraine medications refilled today so I submitted a request through the portal. Only for the office to respond that the NP on staff was "uncomfortable" sending the prescription. What an insane thing to read while I suffer from debilitating migraine pain. I called the office to resolve the issue thinking to myself Dr. Mincey would never say something so ludicrous and that maybe I can reach a person of reason. Only to be tossed around for hours with no resolution. Finally after the office has a closed a front desk girl calls me back to read me the exact same script that was uploaded into my portal - immediately I told her to transfer me to someone else because clearly she was not caught up on the story and I was not going to re-explain myself when I was told the other doctor on file will review my file and send the scrip in.
I am not feigning for codeine or literally anything that any would want ever I am asking for a specific MIGRAINE medication ON MY FILE.
This doctor spoke over me, cut me off, was rude, belittling, condescending and continuously asked why I didn't call a speciality neuro doctor. He then read my chart to me and asked me why a prescription FROM 2022 was not enough for me - I told them they expired and that I use this for MIGRAINE pain as needed!!!! Dr. Betty does not make decisions for me we discuss the issue and options together and come to a plan. He said that I need to go to a neurologist and they don't treat that. That's not try -the only reason I established a PCP relationship is because of migraines. This man told me I am no longer welcome at the practice hung up and then disabled my patient access to portal.
I need Dr. Betty Mincey to rectify this issue and hold her colleagues accountable for the absolutely atrocious behavior in which they handled me today and reinstate my access to my patient portal or I will be filing complaints against the practice and licenses. This is absolutely abhorrent - I have really appreciated Dr. Mincey care and I appalled by the absolutely disgusting manner in which this break down in care occurred today.
I know for FACT that this entire altercation was unnecessary and baseless because the doctor himself said, " I will fill a few pills to hold you over but you are no longer welcome here." If you really felt right in your spirit that I did not need the medicine and that you had a legitimate reason to not send my scrip you would not have sent a SINGLE pill at all, but that was not the case was it ?
To the doctor who cancelled my existing patient status I can only pray that you never feel the type of pain I do and run into such a nasty and careless medical professional.
The fact that all of this stemmed from a unprofessional and thoughtless response to a simple refill request for a medication ALREADY in my portal is tragic and if it is not resolved I will be taking the necessary steps against this practice. As a marginalized person who is doing there level best to take control of my care only to be met with such vitirol and disintersted medical professionals I am distraught and hurt.
I will not let this go.

This practice is top notch. They are quick to see you and everyone is super friendly. Ive been with them for years. The room is empty cause they get you in and out. I hate waiting like in most places. They also offer water and great coffee!

The worst medical place to go to. Got billed for a check in a year ago. Called in to ask about it and the incompetent staff told me they will call me back and then I get a letter from a debt collector in the mail. This whole place is just full of the worst type of people. STAY AWAY

Boy oh boy - these folks have made it so easy for us - I love their appointment reminder texts. Karina and the entire staff is very warm and welcoming.Of course Dr. Makhlouf is very knowledgeable and really care about his patients. It's truly a family practice. ❤️❤️❤️
