I love this salon. Elizabeth is a queen. If you need blonde or red color, go to her. She stays booked so plan ahead! She’s an artist and can add so much complexity and dimension to your color. And hands down, the best blow out ever.

I went to this salon about 3 times to get my gray colored. I am always super careful and conscious about what someone is doing, as not to fry my hair. I always took notes every-time on what products they I use Fast forward, I get my hair done. And over the next week I start to really look at it. The grays didn’t take so they were still silver, and the blonde was toward the rusty blonde, not the bright blonde I usually get. I called them and they said come back in. We can fix it. The first thing I said to my hairdresser is “this won’t dry my hair will it”. She says no. When she mixes the color I notice she is mixing the wrong combo. Using 20% instead of 30-% volume which is my norm. I checked my notes and showed it to her and she said oh, I messed up. That’s what happened. Well, she re did it with 30% and when I looked in the mirror my whole scalp was light purple. I freaked. Like was like OMG. She said dont worry. I’ll fiix it. So she put another process on. I’m like dont ruin my hair. Well. They fried my hair. All the hair around my face was literally broken off to an inch. Around my ears it stuck straight out. So ponytails we’re no longer an option. I was so unhappy.. I called the manager and she had me come back in and we will fix it. When I came in they had an intern deep condition it and sent products home to help it. But no one ever looked at it to see what I was talking about. I was very disappointed once again. But for reals, nothing has helped. I now mhave these broken hairs all over and it will take me years to grow out. I’m not sure what I was hoping for when I asked for their help, but one conditioner isn’t gonna make up for a year of trying to grow my hair out again. And I know it’s their fault, not me being difficult, because she admitted she ises the wrong product. I would have hoped they would offer to cut and style my hair to cover all the breakage, or offer a free service. Something. Nope. Nothing. The moral of this story is make sure you know what product goes in your hair, and communicate to them every time. We think they know what to use, like the same as last time when I loved it, but they dont always take notes or look at them before they do your hair. As a regular I trusted her to do the same thing as before. Not. The manager was.nice, I do want to say that. However I think they could have offered me more as compensation for all my hair breaking off. Maybe a cut to shape so as not to see the breakage? Or a free hair color next time. Or maybe not have an intern look at my hair when I can back, and actually had an experienced stylist look at it. ??♀️. Anyway. Just be careful. Know the products they use, and remind them at the beginning. Thanks

Tough to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. They’ll pick up and put you on hold immediately and leave you waiting for 10-15 minutes. Too bad because I’ve had good experiences once I’m there.

Elisabeth was simply amazing! Came in for a cut and color after and gave her a rough description of what I wanted for my hair, and the results were exactly what I wanted. She was so nice, a great conversationalist, and very quick, but thorough and thoughtful, with her work. Would highly recommend.

BEWARE: I have been coming to this salon for over 15 years. Recently started going to Chantelle. My $240 partial highlight didn't lift enough and they refuse to fix it because I waited over 7 days to call. WOW, that's how you treat a long term customer? Salon response yes! Bye Bye! Salon needs some customer service training.The reason I waited 3 weeks is I didn't want to bother Chantalle. I then decided I paid too much for service and couldn't wait 6 weeks to get fixed.Real customer service would say, this is our policy. We understand come in we want you to be hapoy but remember this for future. I got we don't care even if we lose you. Thanks and goodbye.

I LOVE this salon. As a career professional it's rare to find time for personal grooming, which makes that time for myself even more precious. The staff and my hairdresser make sure I get excellent service with a style and color best suited for my personality, face shape and complection - this is the professionalism I've seem them offer to all the customers in the shop. Amazing salon!! I’ve been coming to Ovo Salon for 5 years now. Chantal does my hair and is a wonderful stylist! I get highlights and her hair cuts are always amazing! You leave feeling like a new person! She did my daughters hair for her wedding party and it was such a great experience and we all had fabulous hair! I’ve always felt welcomed by the front desk staff and love coming to this salon! Everyone is so kind and warm! It’s definitely worth coming to check out for yourself! 5 STARS!Services: Haircut

Hello, honestly I am not used to making these comments, but my level of frustration and mistreatment is so great that it is the only way to vent. Today, 3/15/23, I am going to this well-known salon to get a change of look since my birthday is in 5 days, and I also had a photo session for my Real estste page. When I arrive at this salon, the young woman who attends me asks me what should I do? I tell her that I want to change my color to a lighter color and that you wanted to eliminate a bit of the orange pigmentation that my hair usually gets if they don't know how to color me correctly to which she shows me a color with light hazelnut or rather vanilla which I liked, well then let's get to work when she applies the supposed dye to me I see it black very black!!! I thought ok, maybe you are cleaning the deposit of color that it had... well when it is finished I see that you are drying me with a blower but only blowing my hair so I am thinking that you were only removing excess water to apply the color!!! SURPRISE!!! When I see that it ends, I ask him? and this one tells me that's the color ?? I couldn't believe it, however, I looked like the lion king because I have curly hair and when they dry my hair badly it gets horrible ? but the worst of the worst is that They did not want to find any solution for me because they wanted to bleach my hair to lighten it and obviously I did not accept because my hair mistreats me. In the end, after my disappointment and despair, nobody did anything ? These people are not professional and they are also racist. This has been the most unpleasant experience I've ever had in my life. I currently feel depressed because now I can't process my hair again with chemicals.Service: Shampoo & conditioning

Better not cancel your same day appointment. They will charge you a $90 cancellation fee. But the website says $25 for cancellation.
