The first time they came into my house, the two men were arguing they could not get it together. And they also did not fix the problem. I had to call them out a second time and then finally they fixed it so then when I got ready to set up my Sleeptracker®, it was gone they had took the sleep tracker off my $11,000 bed. They are very bad. They are very unprofessional and they will steal your stuff so don’t trust them

I purchased a 65" from Brands Mart and it stopped working three times, LG sent their warranty repairman out twice, the third time I asked them could Norman fix it and they sent them. Since then my TV has been working, no problems over five years or more. I begin using them back in 1999, they're the BEST!!

I took my 4 month old Yamaha receiver that was fried from a lightning strike. It would not even turn on. They fixed in less than 2 weeks at no cost to me. As this was technically not covered by the warranty, as it was an act of God, I was very impressed with Yamaha and Norman's for taking care of this.Service: Home audio systems

I must say, Norman's Electronics has got to be one of the worst service providers out there. I had a really bad experience with them and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They were assigned to repair my Denon audio receiver but I think they did nothing apart from keeping it for 3 weeks and sending it back to me without fixing the issue. When I tried to contact them and understand what went wrong, they were so unhelpful and downright rude. The technician, Jim, didn't even bother to listen to my problem and instead gave me the most ridiculous advice to hire a professional installer to hook up 5 pairs of speaker wires.I mean, seriously? This is the kind of service that they provide? I was so disappointed and frustrated with their attitude. Denon's tech team had already confirmed the issue over the phone but Norman's Electronics didn't even bother to look into it properly.Overall, I had a terrible experience with Norman's Electronics and I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you want to avoid unnecessary stress and frustration, stay away from this place at all costs.Service: Home audio systems

I took in my (lightning fried) $3,000 Denon X6700 receiver that I bought from Best Buy 2 years and ten days earlier. Best Buy, where I have a Total Tech Membership, said they couldn't help me, out of warranty. Norman's informed my that it in fact had a 3 year warranty from Denon. They spoke to Denon and I received a newly refurbished receiver 5 days later at no cost and Norman's didn't charge me a dime either! As a side note, The Geek Squad install team had plugged the receiver into the wrong port on my ($1,300) Panamax surge protector. Guessing it contributed to the problem.

Please don't do business with this company. They are money-minded people and don't care about customer satisfaction. They come to my home and evaluated my washer with the wrong parts number and created a chaos.Service: Washing machine repair

I was just thinking while I was sitting here enjoying my Sony TV that crapped the bed a few years back. You know...it's hard to find TV repair nowadays with the constantly improving technology and all but the manufacturers are also cutting corners too so they won't last as long.Norman's was upfront with me from the start because certain brands make it harder to remove certain parts without noticeable damage. I was basically going to trash the TV if it didn't work anyway so I gave it a shot. They called me back and told me it was a bad component, replaced it...and here I am today, enjoying it again. I'm actually surprised to see such polarizing reviews here.I would say, when repairing appliances...you need to manage your expectations as a consumer. Norman's did not design the product you are trying to get repaired, they are only trying to mend it back service.Service: TV repair

I used this business for servicing my Tempur Pedic adjustible base mattress. I had bought a 10 year parts and labor warranty from Tempur Pedic's third party warranty company, but they wouldn't honor my warranty. Here is their explanation: Tempur Pedic has a manufacturer's labor warranty of 3 years and parts warranty of 5 years. It's been 4 years since I bought the product so I was still under manufacturer's warranty for parts but not for labor. Tempur Pedic said that my 10 year extended warranty doesn't kick in until after the 5 years of parts, so I still owed $135 per visit for the Norman electrician to come out and service my bed. This is unacceptable since I paid $2.5K for the 10 year extended warranty of parts AND labor. I expect either Norman electronics OR Tempurpedic to reiumbursed me for the $135 service call visit.

Tempur Pedic sent Cory from Norman's to replace a bed frame motor part. On the day of the appointment, Cory called an hour before to tell me he couldn't find the parts. Called back and said he found it, could he come next day between 9 and 10 and he would call when on the way. Didn't call, just showed up. I was not home but my wife was, and let him in. She went upstairs to check on the progress, and Cory said it's working fine and didn't know what the issue was. My wife told him that shouldn't he listen to the voice of customer? Cory didn't appear to appreciate the comment, got disrespectful, indignant with my wife in our bedroom, and said "I'm not doing this". My wife told him it was time for him to leave our house.Called Tempur Pedic again and updated what had happened that day. The Tempur Pedic rep read me the tech notes where Cory stated that the customer chose to not have the parts replaced so he left. Spent 3 hours trying to call Norman's Electronics. Finally got a hold of Glen who claimed to be a Customer Service Manager. Spoke with Glen who was aware of the service call, and knew Cory's side of the story. He was empathetic of the situation it seemed, until he closed the call with a comment that, "well at this point it's a he said she said". To which I replied there is no he said she said- THE CUSTOMER is always right, and Norman's doesn't seem to care. Had asked to speak to the owner, but was told he was out of town for the weekend.

Found Norman's via the LG website. It took 4 weeks to replace a freezer fan and $500. They came out twice because one of the parts wasn't ordered (the part was the fan, the one thing that was vital to be repaired). There are a lot of negative reviews here - maybe try a different shopService: Refrigerator repair

He claimed he knew everything since he ahas worked in electronics over 20 years and over talked me several time. He didn’t fix my dryer and also forged my signature on an invoice stating it was completed. How unprofessional!!!! Jim was my technician making my repair. He was a kind professional man. This is a family owned business that has been around a very long time. Service took longer than expected, but worth the wait and done correctly the first time around.
