"Dave" the store manager at the Buford store location was horrible to deal with. I bought a pallet of laminate flooring to do a job. Turns out 5 boxes were a different color flooring. After going round and round with him, he finally said he would return it but would only give me the lesser cost of the flooring because it was a different flooring that wasn't as much. I have a receipt which shows what I paid and he refused to refund my money. The second I questioned him he said have a nice day. I was shocked!!! He then asked me to leave the store. I have never had anything like this happen to me. I spend millions of dollars on building supplies as I am a builder. This is a great reminder of why I love Home Depot so much. Maybe if Dave sobered up and shaved he would feel better about showing up to work. The stinch of day old alcohol on Dave was nasty. Growing up to an alcoholic, this smell of alcohol brought back some unwanted memories. Shame on Lowe's for not taking care of customers.

I usually like Lowe's Home Improvement...I will only address my specific issue. I'm installing 3 Exterior Spigots, Faucets, Bibs (depending on your background...LOL) and need some very specific SharkBite Fittings to tap into a Bathroom and a Kitchen. I'm replacing some other valves and setting up to allow for Hot Water to blend in when desired for Dog Baths, Car Wash, etc.) I went to Isle 46(?) and started looking for the items - the entire section was chaos. Some bins had the wrong items in them, some had a mixture of right and wrong, and several didn't have anything in them at all. I've seen enough Employees standing around (and worked in my Family's Country Store) to know that it's always a good time to "Check and Re-sort Inventory." After 20 minutes of frustration, I left without purchasing anything. The SharkBite Pieces at the Home Depot in Dawsonville were easy to find, well-stocked, and properly, sorted. I happily bought $300 worth to complete my work.

On October 23, 2022, I placed an order for Schuler cabinets with Lowe's. Lowe's told me the order would be delivered and installed on January 20, 2023. It's now March 29, and the cabinets haven't been installed. A few days before January 20, Lowe's asked me to uninstall my kitchen sink, dishwasher, stove and oven for the cabinet installation. On January 20, there were several cabinets missing in the order, and they didn't install the ones they brought. They left them against a wall and left. Lowe's wouldn't give me any answers. They claimed they'd find out when the rest of the order would arrive. These 2 months, I've gotten nothing but disrespect. No word on when I'll receive my cabinets. A few weeks ago, I contacted Lowe's to cancel the order and ask for the totality of my money back. They said they'd charge a 20% restocking fee if I canceled but offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience. That offer was an insult. It doesn't make any sense that the cabinets are now over two months late, but Lowe's wants to charge me for their own idiocy, noncompliance and horrific customer service. I thought Lowe's was a serious company. Now I know they're nothing but a bunch of thieves. Additionally, after I removed my kitchen appliances for the cabinet installation, Lowe's promised to bring a kitchen sink, free of charge, we could use in the meantime. That sink took two months to be delivered after several attempts to contact them on my end by phone, email and in person. The day the sink was delivered, they tried to charge me $500 for it after saying it was free. At this point, I demand they return a significant percentage of the cost of the cabinets for the dire inconveniences my family has experienced and that they deliver and install the cabinets within the next few days. Otherwise, I want the totality of my money back - no restocking fee charged. They were noncompliant with the purchasing contract and don't deserve a single penny out of me.

On 7/24/2022 at about 5:05pm, I was walking through the store looking for liquid graphite and a couple of door weatherstrips and I was passed by an African-American lady and someone named Brian. I asked for help with the weatherstripping and Brian said "yes, that's on 17. " When I asked about the graphite, she very rudely said "come on Brian, we have to keep walking." I told them I haven't been in the store in years as no one ever helps. They didn't care and kept walking. On my way out and going to Home Depot, I voiced my displeasure towards her while she was behind the customer service counter. Didn't even look up. That's just unacceptable for customer service folks, and she was training Brian. Great job. I'm sure he'll fit right in. I'll never return to the store again and maybe never go back in another Lowe's store as I ALWAYS have problems getting help there. Home Depot is 3 miles out of my way, but I'll head over there as they've never been rude to me and there's always plenty of people willing to help, unlike the CS manager and Brian.

Worst customer service and pro desk help. I actually had both the Pro desk and customer service hang up on me. We had a fence installed and due to the wrong materials ordered we have the old materials in our driveway. The people at the Pro desk are the most unhelpful and trying to get someone to pick up the materials is impossible. I would not even give this store a one. I would spend twice as much next time to put up a fence then go through them.

What horrible customer service. Not near enough registers open and no one could provide the military discount. Won't be coming back to this store again.

Customer service is weak, one star for the number of registers they have open with a person running the register. Also, one star for the one self service checkout line. The 2nd station has been broken for the last year. I started to drive the extra 10 minutes to the depot hardware store. Plenty of customer Arthur and plenty of registers.

Rented a truck from them. Inside of truck was never cleaned and filthy. Steering wheel was even sticky. So much for proper COVID disinfecting policies! Truck had lots of previous damage, including a missing tail gate cover. Sharp metal edge caught my hand while unloading. The manager Tim offered no refund of any kind. Even stated that the truck wasn't like that when I got it. So I told them to check the cameras to prove them wrong...and they were. Seeking an attorney for personal injury and negligence. No follow up from anyone at Lowe's corporate or store.

I wouldn't even give them one star.. They fail to recognize US military discounts and identification cards when presented for the military discount. Instead, you MUST register to be on their junk mail list and are forced to join the gambit of folks who rather have their privacy from big business by NOT being on these mass lists. Their service is terrible, you cannot find anyone to help. The individual who denied the military discount is TIM at the Lowe's store in Suwanee, Ga on Lawrenceville- Suwanee Road to be exact, Georgia. Their competitor (Home Depot) had no problem making a sale while honoring the military ID without a fuss..

Went there to get one specific item recently. I called before going, customer service confirmed item in stock- 13 of the item to be exact. Went there, walked around the store in the area the item should be and couldn't find it. Spoke with the cashier in the are and she told me "Im just a cashier and I should go to customer service". I went to customer service who re-confirmed to me that the item was in stock. I asked if someone could help me find it as I couldn't find it walking through the section. she called someone who I waited for 25 minutes and never showed up. The customer service lady told me " I should just try checking again or the item may just not be in stock." 1- you always should help the customer out and not leave them stranded 2- how are you going to tell me you have 13 in the system but none in the store? i went to another store and found the product I needed and got the customer service I think every customer deserves. I will avoid this Lowe's if this is how they treat their customers.

OMG, Sales Associate,Melanie, was amazing ! She went over and beyond ! I appreciate her SO MUCH! I waited forever for someone to help me or even acknowledge me to help me find the product. Melanie didn't work in the department I needed the product from , but she helped me anyway . I usually go to Home Depot, but Lowes had the product I needed. She is an employee who truly cares! Thank you, Melanie !

This is an awesome Lowe's!! Today I was helped by outstanding manager Sean, in addition to sweet Kristina and Kat. I left so appreciative that they care!!! I've purchased several appliances here, also paint, hardware, and more; but the plant department is my favorite!! I love their in-store displays, that they're always well stocked and super friendly. If they don't have something they'll order it with guaranteed delivery. Lowes of Suwanee is Number 1!!!
