I had a traditional Korean couples photo shoot booked and needed an updo. The owner here was kind and was able to fit me in on a day that she typically did not work. On the phone, she said it would take about two hours. In person, she was quick and only took one. I wish she took more time and care instead of rushing, because it came out different from the photos that I showed her. I didn't love it, but didn't have another option.There must have been some kind of miscommunication/ misunderstanding because the cost she quoted on the phone when the appointment was made, was different from the price she asked for when I went to pay. The reason she gave me was that I am a bride (even though I wasn't doing my hair for my wedding?), not a bridesmaid or MOB. When my aunt called and questioned her about in Korean, she was given a different explanation. There were a lot of inconsistencies and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. It seemed like she just calls out prices as she wants, and does not keep her word.Service: Updos

If they think the customers don't know other Korean hair salons' pricing and service, they are wrong. Haircut price is $10-$15 over and it's not worth it. I have to fix it when I got home. Felt like she rushed it. I will not come back and I don't recommend this hair salon.

Esther is amazing! She is only working with one customer at one time to keep the shop clean and safe. And she totally "tamed" my wild hair. She is also patient and kind teaching me how to take care of it in simple ways. Definitely recommend it!

How is every single review of this place 5 stars? This is no way a 5 star salon. I just walked out with the worst layered cut of my life. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for.. and told her specifically i want this exact cut. The length, the layers, the shape is all wrong and nothing like the picture. Sadly, I will now have to look for another stylist that can fix this disaster, or hide in my home for the next couple of weeks until this grows out.

Oh man.... I haven't had bad haircut like this in awhile. So bad I don't even want to ask her to fix it. She gave me a cut nothing like the picture that I showed her. Sadly I will have to go to another salon to try to undo this disaster.

Esther is a super skilled hair stylist. She knew exactly how to shape my hair according to it's current condition and now everytime I wash my hair, it looks exactly like how it did at the beginning of getting my hair cut by Esther.
