“I recently took the Basic Pistol Class with Josh Akins and was very impressed. I learned a lot about the pistol and how to use it. From class room instruction to hands on training it made me knowledgeable and more comfortable with my gun. Would highly recommend the course and looking forward to coming back for future classes.”
“Thz was the 2nd time visiting!Chuck helped me a lot when I needed help!Everyone here treated me like a family! I'm so glad that I found this place.Best gun store I've experienced! Ty”
“Bulls Eye Marksman has been my go-to range for 17 years. This is an excellent place to learn to be safe and proficient with firearms. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I have not seen much of the stereotypical "gun store counter expert" issues I have read about at other places. I have learned a ton over the years via conversations, listening, and even talking math when zeroing a rifle for distance beyond what the range physically offers. I have truly made friendships over the years.
BEM fosters an active competition scene by hosting multiple competition opportunities with monthly Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) and weekly International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) matches. This is the best way to get truly good with your firearm of choice. I hope to meet you at a match!
I recommend intentional training and sending the target to the back of the range to stretch yourself until you can land every shot where you want it. Strive for excellence and there will be no limits.
They have ten 25 yard pistol lanes, one with a bench. Their two rifle lanes are also very good but at 25 yards are limited for rifle distances - hence the before mentioned need to apply math to an offset when zeroing a hunting rifle for a range beyond the capability of this range. For me, my typical practice session is to use the pistol lane to shoot unsupported offhand at various distances up to 25 yards and using my timer to set a par time.
Hope to see you at the range!”
“Dead Center and their associates as a whole... What can I say other than excellence all around! I came in yesterday to receive my shipped rifle and also purchase a few products! Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you so much for everything y'all helped me with! ✌?”
“Best experience ever in this kind of shop! If you're particularly blessed, you may even get David himself to aid you with his seemingly bottomless fountain of knowledge. Mike is the man carrying this place on his broad shoulders with his prior work experience lending to his mastery. Jeff is eager to help and is definitely not slacking in the know-how department. Also, very polite. Sandy was AWESOME and fielded even the most dumb-sounding questions spewing from my mouth, with grace and aplomb. And who could forget, the good Ole cornerstone. <3 Mary. The store itself was organized expertly, clean, and well-lit. There aren't enough stars for this place!!! Don't believe me? Go in and put me to the test. ?”

1270 Progress Center Ave, Lawrenceville“I contacted them by email about the stock on my CBA Accura becoming very sticky. They replied the next day and asked me to send pics of the stock. I sent the pics, received a reply that they were out of black and would I be okay with camo. 4 days later I had a new camo stock and forend. I was pleased with the quick response and shipping, I was expecting a hassle but was pleasantly surprised!”
“I was in the mall for midieval times, and we were walking around after, and found this place. Very nice and helpful staff. Me and my friends were in the process of trying to find a place to play airsoft at, and I think we hit the jackpot! Definitely coming back with my friends soon!”
“I had a very pleasant experience after going into the store to browse for about half an hour, chatting up two staff members to learn more about a new-to-me gun platform, and making a small purchase. Other reviews note that service is hit-or-miss here, but for me it was a hit. In addition, found their prices reasonable on some items like optics, so I'll likely be back.
The only criticism I have is of the range rules prohibiting conceal carrying on the property and/or drawing from a holster in the lanes. The former rule is not consistent with criticism of gun-free zones pro-2A types usually have, and the latter rule prohibits practicing draw-to-first-shot drills. I could walk to this range from my home, but I drive to another range 30 minutes away for these reasons. I hope the business reconsiders these rules so it can open up additional business opportunities.”
“Great place to do some shooting. Some of the best range officers I have incountered. Most gun shop employees seem to be self-important and condescending. Not at John's Creek. They offer instruction where they need but show respect for their customers' skill set. My company has sechedualed two events at this location, and I've ben impressed on both occasions. Keep up the good work .”
