Not the most friendly front staff. They are not even clear on their office hours, and contradicted the hours listed on their website.

Never trust your pet with Four Paws. I boarded my pet recently and she came back lethargic and contracted diarrhea and kennel cough. They put her on a shock collar while she was with them saying she had anxiety. They never contacted me about it for authorization. Very upset and disappointed with the four paws team. I will never be boarding with them again.

I never really had anything negative to say about Four Paws until now. We took out old lab there for years, long before Dr. Tharpe come on. Our newest experience has been very infuriating and very very very expensive. As Monday, we paid almost $800 for just blood work and an IV, only to find out nothing was wrong, or they couldnt find anything wrong. Then I was told to come back in 24 hours for an xray if nothing is better. Our dog wasnt eating or drinking for 3 days. Finally, we calleed our old vet, in and out within 1 hour with a diagnosis and medication to treat. I will be reaching out asking for osme relief on what I paid. Just for blood work alone, which we had done in April and again in August, we spent rougly $1500 just on blood work. I understand pets can be expensive, but there is a different between expensive and excessive.

Mrs. Pat is awesome, nice and sweet. Please go to this hospital if you meow or roof needs assistance.

Do not go there. We had a horrible experience with them. Our cat died under their care which was supposed to be helpful but he died within the hour once he was with them. It was mostly due to very uneducated assistant techs and "doctors" that were to too busy to assist, since no one was paying attention. It was heartbreaking to say the least.

I have been taking my pets there for a few years, but I am switching because they are so expensive. Mainly their prescription prices are about triple of that they charge elsewhere. It's a shame because I do like the doctors. If you don't care about cost then they are great, but unfortunately with 5 animals I cant afford their prices anymore.

Don't trust them with your pet. I know times are rough now and businesses can't get anyone to work but my experience was before Covid. So you can only imagine what's going on now. The ladies at the front desk were always super sweet. However, the vet doctors and assistants were clueless and could not properly evaluate my cats (I had two at the time). One cat died in their care within an hour of being there to receive IV fluids. Apparently, the vet techs (Zach, etc.) had no idea what medications were safe to administer and did not watch him after they gave the wrong medications that conflicted with his afflictions (kidney/hyperthyroidism). The "doctors" (Cho)... and Tharp were too busy to assist and clearly didn't consult with the techs resulting in my cat's (very unexpected) death within an hour. It was unfortunate that my pet had to be their learning experience.

Dr. Tharp has cared for our dogs for years and helped us through skin infections and orthopedic issues when we adopted a new rescue. Very friendly staff and easy to schedule appointments.

Dr. Tharp and her staff are the best! Dr. Tharp takes a personal interest in your pet’s health and calls you herself to give you updates. All of her staff are personable, caring professionals. Unbeknownst to me, my little fur baby, Trixie, almost died from her first (and hopefully last) acute pancreatitis. My veterinarian for the last two years, VCA Falcon Village, couldn’t see her for 3 days and referred me elsewhere. I ended up going to Four Paws Animal Hospital and Dr. Tharp and staff put her on IVs and medication and I had her back home in 3 days. Dr. Tharp saved Trixie’s life and I immediately started taking both of my dogs to Four Paws Animal Hospital for all their vet appointments. Also, her prices are REASONABLE (much more so than VCA). I give Four Paws Animal Hospital and Dr. Tharp my highest recommendation.

It was very difficult to write the following review and decide how many stars to give. We were very happy with Dr. Tharp and her staff. The vet techs were especially caring and sweet. We thought we had finally been very lucky to find a decent vet in the area and we even started recommending others visit Dr. Tharp... However, our recent experience will unfortunately have us searching for another vet. Dr. Tharp recommended that we spay our dog at two (2) years of age, one (1) year at the earliest. They only spay on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with drop-off between 7 and 7:30 AM. One of us had to take the day off from work due to our pickup being at 3:30 PM. The check-in went smoothly and Dr. Tharp was available to speak with at drop-off. She also called when the surgery was complete to give the results. Thankfully, everything was routine and went smoothly! When we received the bill we thought the overall price was high, but one fee in particular absolutely infuriated me! They charged a fee for our dog being over one (1) year of age when Dr. Tharp had told us one (1) year of age should be the MINIMUM for us having her spayed. We can only imagine how much higher the fee would have been if we followed Dr. Tharp's original recommendation of spaying at two (2) years of age! We both work long hours during the week which do not align with the vet's normal business hours. We have been upfront with them about it and have always communicated with the office via email. It took three (3) emails to finally receive a response from the office. The woman who replied was not someone we had spoken with previously and she was very professional. She apologized we did not receive a response to our previous messages. We were able to schedule a drop-off (on our way to work) to have our dog's stitches removed and then pick her back up (after work), before they closed for the day. Thankfully, since her stitches were being removed it was free of charge. The outrageous fee based off her age was never addressed and our question was essentially ignored. We didn't press further as we were very disappointed to learn the office is no longer open on Saturdays. We are not fully surprised at the news given there had originally been three (3) or four (4) vets total when we first started attending as clients. (Currently, the only vet is Dr. Tharp.) We really need a vet who is open on Saturdays - so in the end the new hours added the final blow to our soured experience.

8 weeks after they said my dog's leg would not heal, His broken leg is healed thanks to Blue Pearl! I'm Here to remind everyone 4 Paws wouldn't even touch my dogs leg but still charged us for a consultation and xrays they took even though they knew they couldn't help the animal. If you have a major concern with your pet for anything above BASIC Flea and tick and heart worm, then skip these guys and go straight to Blue Pearl because they care about your animal and have the actual resources and plans to help you. 4 Paws will take $400 from you just to refer your pet elsewhere. We now go to Blue Pearl weekly for my dogs leg and every trip is less than $80 for a re-wrap that 4 Paws wouldn't even do. 4 Paws also charged us $400 when Blue Pearl health professionals only charge $80... Every week I see someone come into Blue Pearl that paid to get told to go there by 4 Paws and it makes me cringe.. . They dont have the resources to help your pet. They will take admin fees from you and charge you for whatever they can like flea, tick, vaccines, then they will tell you they were NEVER able to help and that you need to go to Blue Pearl - the real animal hospital. This facility offers no orthopedics or surgeries to animals so read this and know up-front they will charge you for a consultation on procedures that they don't even perform and that's borderline evil because they take advantage of people helping their animals. Wish our dog luck as he re-begins his life thanks to everyone but 4 Paws

AMAZING!!!!! I found out the vet we were going never renewed his international health certificate license about six days before my international flight, which left me with no time to get this done. The staff at Four Paws have been absolutely INCREDIBLE. They booked me spontaneously the next day taken excellent care of my little furry family member, and were responsive until I had the certificate endorsed in my hands a day later. I can't thank them enough! They will for sure see us back!
